Hello, my dear friend!
As you’ve opened the file, it’s time to dip into the world of amigurumi or,
as they say, into the world of crochet toys!
But, firstly, let’s agree in advance, everything you see and learn here,
will be our big/ little secret! All right?
Well, find the most comfortable and quiet place, take your magic wand,
(I hope, you’ve guessed the hook;)) those soft and cozy yarn, which will be
useful and be patient,we have not been the wizards yet, we are still learning
to create miracles!
And everything will come true!
For creating such a miracle you should know the next abbreviations:
Ch - chain
MR – Magic Ring
Sc – single crochet
SS - Slip stitch
DC – double crochet
Inc –increase (2 sc into one stitch)
Dec - decrease (2 sc together into one stitch)
Necessary supplies for making Mickey and Minnie:
1. Yarn of main color – black (in my case it’s YarnArt

Jeans 28)
you can use any other yarn you like, YarnArt Jeans 01 (white), Alize
cotton gold 262(beige)
2. For boots YarnArt Jeans 35(yellow), Alize cotton gold 371(pink),
shorts YarnArt Jeans 51 (red ), YarnArt Jeans76 (tiffany),
3. For ears Alize Softy 60
4. Hook No2 (for YarnArt Jeans), or any other hook for your
yarn.

Start with boots. My boots are of yellow color, that’s why I take yellow color.
The bottom of boots are crocheted in circle as if you make insole of bootee.

1 row: 32 ch and attach to the beginning of chain, then crochet in circle.

Then put together and wrap with thread.
Dress description
Dress is knitted with spokes #2. I knit in stocking stitches(St how ma

stitches you need for the beginning, firstly make a sample of 10 stitches, about
5-6 rows. Measure the sample, pulling it a bit. My sample is 4 cm. Then measure
neck circumference of a toy. My toy’s circumference is 8 cm.To measure right
number of stitches you need 10 x 8 = 80 and divide into 4. I’ve had 20 stitches.
But cast on 22 stitches to have looser dress collar. In your raglan you mustn’t hav
uneven numbers of stitches, that’s why I cast on 22 stitches and make
2 rows - knit 1 perl 1 ribbing.
Then we have to divide all the stitches for a raglan.

I’ve made 4 stitches for raglan, 4 stitches for every sleeve, 4 stitches – for front,
and 2 stitches for both back sides.
Start with right side according before and
after every of 4 raglan stitch. In wrong side knit
in purls, and raglan stitches – in knit.
Alternate right and wrong sides until we have necessary length
(I’ve knitted 12 rows after ribbing).
22 stitches +12 rows*4 stitches = 70 stitches. I’ve had 70 stitches.

Then form sleeves, leaving 39 stitches or divisible in 3. So, 70-39 = 31
for sleeves 15 and 16 stitches.
Make 6 rows with knit. The7th row is knitted in circle with cable needles.
In the 8th row in every 3 stitches knit 1 stitch in the front, then in the back.

Now we have 13 stitches more. 32+13 = 52 stitches.

9-14 rows knit 52 stitches.
In the 15th row make inc in every 4 stitches. You have 13 stitches more.
52+13=65 stitches.
16-21 rows. Knit 65 st.
22 row. Make inc in every 5 st.
You have 13 st more. 65+13=78 st.
23-25 rows. Knit 78 st.
Finish or knit up to the right length.

Shorts for Mickey.
Shorts are knitted with cable needle #2.. I knit in stocking

To know how many stitches you need for the beginning, firstly make a sample
of 10 stitches,about 5-6 rows. Measure the sample, pulling it a bit. My sample
is 4 cm. Then measure body circumference of a toy. My toy’s circumference is 16
To measure right number of stitches you need 10 x 16 = 160 and divide into 4.
I’ve had 40 stitches. I cast on 40 stitches and make 3 rows - knit 1 perl 1 ribbing.
4 row. Knit 40 st.

5 row. Inc in every 5 st. 40+ 40:5= 40+8=48
stitches.
Then knit 48 st in circle up to beginning of pant leg (I have 22 rows)
Then form pant legs, I’ve had 20 st on every pant leg.

In the center we have 4 st left in front and 4 st in back
– attach them to each other. Sew on.
Then knit every pant leg in circle up to necessary length (I’ve had 7 rows)

Attachment and decoration of the to
Now, it’s time to attach and sew all the pieces together to give
a birth to our Mickey and Minnie ;)
For beginning, let’s attach head to the body. When you have some part left ,
fiill in with fiber a bit and sew the pieces up to the end, hide the thread inside
the toy.
Then attach legs and arms to the body. They are attached with some thick thread

Don’t forget about black stripes on the gloves.
It’s time for eyes and smile (we can’t miss them ;)
The eyes are attached between 13 and 14 rows, but firstly embroider
them as it’s shown in the photo with some white thread, the photo is an example
Make contractions in the place where we have eyes. Do it with the help of black
sewing thread or black moulinet.
Also make contractions where pins are placed to have cheeks.
