III. Rationale, Objectives, and Sustainable Development Goals.

Rationale:

The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA) is a duly

recognized organization representing the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP).
This student organization is dedicated to fostering unity and cooperation among all
the architecture schools in the country. Its ultimate goal is to promote selfless service,
global competence, and professionalism among its members.

In line with this, the Area D - District 3 Seminar and Team Building will conduct the
Giya: Workshop and Seminar as part of the organization’s team building activity on
September 16-17, 2023. This will be an on-site sub-event that will gather all the
participating architecture students from all the chapters of District 3 to have a
workshop and seminar about valuable lessons about architecture.
Objectives:

To wit, the sub-event aims to achieve the following objectives:

1. To foster camaraderie among the members of all the chapters under

District 3.
2. To establish connection and experience during the workshop.
3. To gain more knowledge and expertise from the speakers.
4. To acquire more strategies and skills during the workshop.

V. Event Description

Giya: Workshop and Seminar will be conducted and documented onsite. It aims to
provide a platform for the speakers to share their experiences and insights with the
audience, who will be future leaders. The event will offer a range of workshops and talks
that can inspire and motivate the attendees.
