- Cutting and Slicing

The survival knife is really helpful when you have to chop vegetables or other food items while
in the wilderness.

- Self Defense
Your survival knife can be a huge factor in self-defense. With it, you can ward off wild animals
and, in the worst case, even human attackers.
- First Aid
Outings into the wilderness have their pros and cons. There is a possibility that you might get
bruises, cuts or injuries. A survival knife can aid in first aid by cutting bandages or splints to
apply to wounds. You cannot take your safety for granted and a survival knife is indeed your
best ally.
- Building Shelter
A survival knife can be truly versatile, and if you do not have a saw or a hatchet then it comes in
handy when you need to build a shelter. You can use it to cut wood and other materials that you
might need. The knife also helps when putting a tent together.
c. Saw.
Verry Important: Always keep you saw blade covered, for your own protection and in the same
time to protect the blade.

together with a saw.

Making round opening in the wood, it can be use during a shelter building.

Use small saw attached to a long or medium stick to cut branches u cannot reach to make fire.
We use this method when it’s raining or after the rain, because all the wood on the floor will
be wet, but the dead wood who still attached the tree will stay dry from inside and full of wax,
will help you to start fire faster.

4 Survival shelter.
So why is shelter needed for survival? A shelter can protect you from severe conditions, such as
extreme heat, cold, wind and rain. It has a microclimate where you can rest, sleep and hide from
animals. A shelter is also the base where you store your water, food and essential equipment.
