Rationale:
We, First Year Bachelor of Science in Accountancy students of St. Mary's College
of Meycauayan, aim to conduct an activity entitled “Money Optimization:
Nothing but for Every Youth (MONEY)” with the fundamental objective of
providing a free comprehensive seminar on imparting financial knowledge and
literacy for the community residing at Gasak, Meycauayan, Bulacan. The general
intent of this workshop is focused on understanding the participant's spending
patterns, recommending an appropriate strategy on how they can optimize their
resources, and providing awareness and proficiency about debt and proper
allocations of money. This activity is estimated to last only for five (5) hours, and
will only be carried out during the second semester of A.Y. 2022-2023, specifically,
on April 28, 2023.

Objectives:
• To provide a free comprehensive seminar on financial knowledge and
literacy for the community residing at Gasak, Meycauayan, Bulacan
(Service-Preferential Love of the Poor)

Money Optimization: Nothing but for Every Youth (MONEY)

 • To understand the participant's spending patterns and recommend an
appropriate strategy on how they can optimize their resources (Faith-
Nationalism)
• To impart awareness and proficiency about debt and proper allocations of
money (Excellence-Resourcefulness)
