How to Calibrate Amplifier Speed Control WRC 1021

Note: Only when servo pump is turned “on”, “Interface Panel”-K1 will activate and all WRC card will be
power up. Set to “brake ON & coupling Out”.

Step 1: Turn “ON” servo


Step 2: Switch S3 to left – handle will go hoisting position, if not swap hoses on servo. Observe led 3 & 5
Lit, measure feedback poti, eg at neutral is 2.5Vdc, full hoist is about
1Vdc & full lower is about 4Vdc. If error, swap 1 & 3, switch back S3
Step 3: Calibrate P5 – adjustment of Deadband, observe led 3 & 5 is hunting, increase until
Led 5 goes off & reduce again until lit. wait for 7 sec till Led5
goes off. Lit led 5 – activated, WRC have control.
Turn Anti Cw – Reduce,
Turn Cw – increase.
Step 4: Switch S8 to left – make sure handle is at neutral position, if not, open relieve
Valve, move motor handle – Full Hoist & Full Lower and back to neutral
do the same with bridge control stick. Switch S8 back to right (normal position)
Step 5: Switch S7 to left – set (?)% Hoisting & 20% lowering. Eg 90% hoisting is system with
Change over valve & 20% hoisting normal setting.
Calibrate P2 poti to increase speed if speed is too slow.
calibrate P1 poti to move handle to 20%+5% hoisting, calibrate P3 poti &
observe Led 6 till Lit.
calibrate P1 poti to move handle to 20%+5% Lowering, calibrate P4 poti &
observe Led 7 till Lit.
Step 6: Switch S7 to left – calibrate P1 poti, handle must be at full hoist with a 2mm gap
between handle and stopper. Note: Observe led 3-hoist / led4-lower.
Step 7: Switch S7 “ON/OFF”, check the timing for handle from neutral to full hoist, must be 5 to 7 sec.
Calibrate P2 poti on the timing. Note: Observe led 3-hoist, if handle move hoist and lower
when S7 is on moving to hoist, this shows that the deadband is set too high, reduce
deadband on P5 to eliminate lowering command.
When S7 switched, solenoid activate &Led 3(Hoist output) will light up, when full hoist complete,
led 3 will cut off. Must check hoist timing on both WRC card (2 motor on main winch), must have
same timing.
Step 8: With E-17 maneuvering valves, dipswitch S6 has to be set in ON position (disabled
auto-bypass function), never be able to manually move the maneuvering valve handle,
unless you open the F46 bypass valve by the maneuvering valve.
Step 9: Dipswitch S5 has to be set in ON position (enable creep drive-winch moves slowly for
engaging)

Note: output are in 230Vac, feedback poti are in 5Vdc. Full hoist measure with 0V
