Topic: How does management science is being applied in the government?

Firstly, what is management science?
-Management science is a comprehensive, interdisciplinary study of decision making
and issue solving within organizations. The interdisciplinary subject has strong linkages
to economics, engineering, management, business administration, and other fields.
Various scientific principles, such as mathematical models, algorithms, and statistics, are
used. The goal is to increase and improve a company's capital as well as to make more
accurate and sensible decisions. Management science employs scientific principles and
approaches to assist organizations in achieving their objectives.

So how does management science is being applied in the government?

-Management science can improve organizational efficiency by making decision-making
simpler and more defined that is technically applied in the government. The approach's
main advantage is its capacity to create metrics that can be used to identify and
evaluate the effectiveness of existing procedures. Management science in the
government, examines the current condition and compares it to different possibilities,
resulting in measurable forecasts. The analysis of processes and decision-making can
assist the government in identifying issue areas as well as systems that are already
performing efficiently. The identification of these will ensure that the government is
employing processes and decision-making approaches that produce the best results in
terms of fulfilling the government’s objectives.
