16th PhD Workshop in Economics

The University of Turin and the Collegio Carlo Alberto are pleased to invite
you to attend the 16th PhD Workshop in Economics. The Workshop will be
held in person.

For this year’s edition, we are pleased to announce the partici-

pation of Professor Steve Pischke (London School of Economics)
and Professor Alessia Paccagnini (University College Dublin).
We invite you to submit your unpublished paper in any field of economics
(either theoretical or empirical).

 Submission
Please send your paper and CV through the Apply Section of the website
(https://www.workshopecon.carloalberto.org/apply/). Papers must be
written and presented in English. The session format will include a 25 min-
utes presentation by the author, 10 minutes of discussion by a formal discus-
sant and 5 minutes of general discussion.

- Paper submission deadline: October 6th 2023
- Notification of acceptance: by October 20th 2023
- Program Schedule: by November 21st 2023
- Workshop: November 23rd -24th 2023

Location
The Workshop will take place at Collegio Carlo Alberto, Piazza Arbarello 8,
10122 Torino. The Collegio is located in the historic building of the Economic
Department of the University of Turin. It hosts research centers, residential
faculty, fellows and visiting scholars.

Practical Details
No registration fees are required. In addition, lunch, coffee breaks and social
dinner will be offered by the Collegio. Travel and accommodation expenses
are under the responsibility of participants. To facilitate the organization of
