Dear Kate,

It feels like just yesterday that it was still May, and now it's already June, time flies
by quickly.Currently, I have started my summer break, and the weather is much
hotter than usual this year. How are you and your family doing? Is everyone's
health and work progressing well? Georgia and Emilia must have grown up a lot
since the last time we met, and I hope to see your family again soon. Over the past
few months, there were many happy activities at Mary's Home, but unfortunately, I
was unable to participate in all of them due to my health issues. Let me share with
you the memories I had from April, May, and June.

In April, my mother Thu had her birthday, and many guests came to visit,
including Hanna and others. The birthday party was really fun. During this time,
Jen, Lauren, and Nan also visited, and they took everyone at Mary's Home out for
spicy noodles. Although it was a happy trip, I felt tired and had muscle spasms and
pain. I was taken back home to rest, but my pain worsened, so I had to be rushed to
the hospital. I was really sad because I had prepared a lot of things to do during
those days.

Moving on to May, Soc, and Lauren has birthdays, and we surprise them and even
make flowers to give. After the party, they took me and everyone else shopping,
and we had banh xeo together. However, during that time, I had to be hospitalized
again and was diagnosed positive for COVID-19. I was very worried because it
was my second time getting COVID-19, but I remained strong and overcome the
illness. I was also hospitalized many times due to muscle spasms and
inflammation. I felt discouraged and hoped that I could be healthier and not have to
go to the hospital anymore.
In June, there was International Children's Day on June 1st, but I was still in the
hospital, so I couldn't receive any gifts from my friends. Later, I was discharged
from the hospital and went back to the countryside to visit. However, during my
follow-up appointment, my leg was swollen, so I had to be hospitalized again, and
I had to have a tooth pulled. When I was discharged, many visitors came to see
Mary's Home. I had a great time talking with them, and I also made clay and drew
pictures with everyone. Mr. Robert also came to visit.

I'll share the happy things in my life with you. I feel happy when I know God and
am entrusted as God's child. I always pray to God in all circumstances. Every
night, I set aside a corner to think about what I did that day and share it all with
God. I also tell God my desires, but I know that not all prayers will be answered,
so I always have patience and wait for great things to come.

The letter is getting long now, so I'll stop here. I hope you receive my letter and
will respond to me. I wish you and your family good health and happiness.

Sincerely,
Kha
