Preventative Maintenance Check List

PM Activities Completed Remarks


1. Verify if all the racks are in good conition without any deformation
2. Check the status of the slides by inserting all the racks in all positions
3.Check the status and the tension of the carriage belt and lubricate the slides.

4. check the status of the flexible cable of the carriage; Replace if damaged
5.Check the status of the belt of the syringe ( Z axis ); Replace if damaged.
6. Check for any damage of the needle and replace it if damaged
7. Check and Replace the pump tube at Every 30k Tests
8. Check the status of PTFE tubing from syringe to the reading block and from
the pump to waste tank, replace the tubing if deformed or
damaged .
9.Check if blood flow is normal and regular
10.Check the rotation of pump; Verify the rolls are regularly rolling.
11. Verify the regularity of pressure of rolls due to springs. If somesqueaking is
heard while the rolls operate, lubricate the rolls sprayingthem with a bit of
silicon oil.
12. Check if the magnets stuck on the head of pump are present and check
the sensor, activating Debug ON in Setup and look if the yellow LED on
the commands panel is lighted when the magnets face the sensor
during rotation.
13.Check if the Home sensor FAST is distant less than 2 mm from the pulley
magnet (the optimal distance is 1 mm).
Adjust, if necessary the distance moving the sensor toward the pulley.
14.Align the syringe group (carriage) with the motor group, use the racks
carriage-rotor that are used by customer
15.Check the correct open/close of front door, check if the movement on the
pivot is not altering the correct detection of closed door by the
sensor.
16.When all the described checks are performed at the level of 30.000
test, reset the Maintenance Counter.
17. Perform the deontamination procedure if some part is contaminated with
blood:
a) spray the parts with a disinfectant (cationic surfactants).
b) collect liquid from the sprayed parts with absorbing paper towels.
c) wash with water and dry with paper
NOTE: If an inspection step necessitates part(s) to be replaced record activity within Incident Report.
Yes – indicates mandatory Preventive Maintenance Activity has been completed. NR – indicates that elective Preventive Maintenance Activity was not
required.
Inspect – visually inspected, no action required. Clean – based on inspection clean procedure was performed. Replace – based on inspection, item replaced
