Additional Info:
Two types:
Plastic shuttlecocks are more durable and long-lasting than the commonly
used feather type. Plastic shuttlecocks are likely to travel short distances
because of their heaviness, but they are ideal for building strength.
Feather shuttlecocks are made with bird feathers. It offers high aerodynamic
lift than the plastic ones. A shuttlecock is formed from 16 or so overlapping
feathers, usually goose or duck, embedded into a rounded cork base.
3. Badminton Net
one of the most important pieces of equipment
Without a net at the right height and with the right width, the game of
badminton becomes diluted.
Badminton net dimensions in feet
Total width: 20 ft
Total height at the posts: 5 ft 1 inch
Total height at the center: 5 ft
Net height: 2 ft 6 inch

important bearing on a player's game performance. In addition, in
professional play, there may be specific regulations regarding clothing.
5. Scoreboard
It is a display board showing the current score and game progression.
Moreover, scoreboards keep players and spectators informed about the
ongoing match, allowing everyone to stay engaged and follow the competition
accurately.
6. Badminton Poles Or Post
A slender, steel pole that comes with a hook and a sliding collar to adjust
net tension and a plastic grooved cap to ensure accurate net height.
