Q38. Case Study-3


Real numbers are broadly classified as rational and irrational numbers. Rational numbers are the ones
that can be expressed in p/q form, where q is not equal to zero and p and q are integers. Whereas
irrational numbers can’t be expressed in p/q form. The decimal expansion of a rational number can either
be non-terminating recurring or terminating. But the decimal expansion of an irrational number is non-
terminating and non-recurring. Based on the given information, answer the following questions.
