Thank you TMOD Mr. Siddhartha!

It is said that “Challenges are what makes life interesting, overcoming these is what makes life
meaningful and satisfying”.

Good Afternoon fellow Toastmaster and Dear guests! My name is Dilip Yadav, born and brought up in
Kushinagar UP. Kushinagar is one of principle center of Buddhist pilgrimage and is the place where Lord
Buddha left his Corporal Self and attained Mahaparinirvana. I am a Mechanical Engineering Graduate
and currently working as Sr. Piping Stress Engineer in PDP, and my task is to release the stresses
generated in piping routings through proper placements of supports. I have a family of my mother
father, wife and two kids,

I joined Toastmasters so that I may devotee some time from my busy work life, for interpersonal skills
development. But After Joining Toastmasters, stresses are getting build up in me to deliver my
Icebreaker Speech. So let’s break the ice and release stress built up.

I am fond of exploring new places and feeling different Cultures which, I tried to fulfill while being on job
posting in different part of India.

After College I landed up in my First Job in Jharkhand in a steel Plant. First six month was very interesting
as it’s was golden period of Training. After six months of training I was appointed as Production Engineer
with responsibilities of shift in charge. As shift in charge I had to run whole plant in co-ordination with
Operators of different sections of plants. I accepted the challenge and started my work passionately.
Unfortunately, plant had not achieved if full production capacity from last two years of starting. But
now it was now in our hands. Our eagerness whether we can raise plant to its full capacity or not,
energized us and we decided to take it to its full capacity.

In next one week we slowly raised the plant to its full capacity and now it became usual. After 9 months
of working over here, there was no challenge left for me as it becomes daily routine work.

It was time for me too change this sector. And I switched to my present profile of Design Engineering as
Piping Stress Engineer.

From here onwards my Tour of India starts along with Job. I joined in Gandhinagr Gujarat and from
there I covered western parts Kacch, Diu , Gir forest etc and enjoyed Gujarati food and Culture. While
being in Gandhinagr I got change to be on training at Vienna Austria. From there I covered Beautiful city
of Rome, Munich, Zurich and Salzberg.

After coming from this Nuclear energy training, I was deployed at Madras Atomic Power Station in one
of prestigious project of Govt. of India “BHAVINI”. It was great chance to enjoy the life of coastal region
and cover the tourist places for South India. Letter on I shifted to Petrofac Chennai. After being there for
around three and half years, now it was “Aamchi Mumbai”. After 2 years being in Mumbai and Now it
was time to settle in Delhi NCR and to welcome the new family members, my two kids. I was working in
a Spanish MNC from last 7 years in New Delhi and Joined Bechtel in Nov2022. At present I am residing at
Faridabad and continuing my journey to explore further places.

“As you grow older, you’ll find the only things you regret are the things
you didn’t do.” So keep it ON.
Thanks you all for your patience and coperation.
