SCHOOLS DIVISION OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR
1. The Department of Education – Schools Division of Zamboanga del Sur, through the
Division PRAISE Committee, announces the 2023 Province-Wide Search for
Outstanding DepEd Employees and Other Searches.
2. The search is in line with the celebration of the 71st Araw ng Zamboanga del Sur
which aims to give special recognition to DepEd employees who manifest profound
commitment, exemplary competence, and remarkable dedication to their work.

i. Talentadong Guro
4. All QUALCIs shall submit only one (1) nominee per category.
5. The screening committees in different levels shall be organized to assess and evaluate
the documents of the nominees and shall declare the winner.
School Screening Committee (for Teachers, MT, Local Paid Teacher, and
School-Based Non-Teaching Personnel):

6. The Division PRAISE Committee shall declare the winners and submit it to the
Province of Zamboanga del Sur.
7. The deadline for the submission of documents to the Schools Division Office (SDO)
shall be on September 4, 2023, Monday, before 5:00 p.m. via the Records Section
addressed to the PRAISE Committee. The Awarding Ceremony shall be on September
16, 2023, which shall be announced in a separate memorandum.
Attachment 1
There are eight (8) categories to be awarded in the 2023 Province-Wide Search for
Outstanding DepEd Employees and Other Searches. The PRAISE Committee may revoke
an award should the winner be found to have committed falsification of documents
submitted or have been found guilty of any case that was pending during the search
period.
The nominee for the search category must meet the following qualification requirements:
1. Has a good reputation, known integrity, and moral principles in public service;
2. Has good human relations in the school/office and in the community;
3. A permanent employee or a Provincial Paid Teacher who meet the selection
criteria;
4. Has been rated at least “Very Satisfactory” in the last three (3) performance rating
period;
5. Has not been found guilty nor has any pending administrative or criminal offense.
More than the certificate or plaque of recognition and cash prizes that wait for the
winners, the honor of being named as Outstanding Employee is truly beyond measure.
Paper Screening shall include all supporting documents submitted to the School,
District, and QUALCI Search Committee which shall be evaluated using specific
criteria (see enclosure).
Arrange the following attachments in the following order and label/tag for each
document:
• Personal Data Sheet
• Certification that the nominee has not been suspended or charged for any
administrative or criminal offense.
• Supporting documents following the specific criteria on Paper Screening.
Photocopies must be certified true and verified against the original by the
immediate superior of the nominee.
Score sheets indicating the results in the respective level shall also be attached.

A. MECHANICS:
1. The performance must be a minimum of 1.5 minutes to a maximum of 2 minutes only.
2. Choice of music is open.
3. The performer/s can use single, or remix music. Dancers may use costume or props.
4. Number of entry participants will range from a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5.
5. The theme shall focus on promoting the province of Zamboanga del Sur.
C. RULES ON VIDEO
1. The camera position must be fixed with no zooming.
2. Performance must be shot in segments taken from the tourist spots of their choice
within the province, with minimal edits of any kind.
3.The camera lens should be positioned to get the full body shot of the dancers.
4.The venue should have ample natural lighting or lit for clean visibility of all dancers.
5. Each video must be a continuous still frame with a minimum of 720p resolution,
colored, whole body.
A. MECHANICS:
1. Open to all regular teaching and teaching-related personnel of this division.
2. Each district shall have one entry (solo or duo performance).
3. Contestants may showcase any talent.
4.Use of stunts and risky routines are strictly prohibited.
5.All performances must conform to the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public
Officials and Employees.
6. The performance shall focus on this year’s theme of the celebration.
