Child and Adolecent
Child and Adolecent
In the Philippines, a lot of youngsters lack the most basic rights. Children in the Philippines continue to
experience numerous, pervasive disadvantages and vulnerabilities that prevent them from thriving, developing,
being protected, and participating in society.
Younger generations are frequently stereotyped by older generations as being unmotivated and uneducated,
although evidence reveals the complete reverse. The truth is that today's youth are overworked and exhibiting
burnout symptoms, such as anxiety and sadness. Reclaiming rest, renewal, and revitalization as forms of
political combat is something that young people must do.
There are many problems that today's youngsters in the Philippines must be addressed from the ground up.
Among the many issues that still plague them are poverty, a lack of education, drug or alcohol misuse, vice,
crime, and unemployment.
What are the issues with youth and students in the Philippines?
as noted above, these include but aren't' limited to:
Poverty.
Paucity in resources.
Lack of education and training.
Mental health.
Lack of access to quality and affordable healthcare.
Teenage pregnancy.
Crime and unemployment.
Drug abuse.
Youths are especially vulnerable to drug and substance abuse, which can lead to depression, behavioral
problems, and poor mental health. The most common mental illnesses in adolescents are anxiety, mood,
attention, and behavior disorders.
