TWO DAY CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM - MAIN BHI PAKISTAN HOON

source Foundation Pakistan Team Hosted A Two-Day
Capacity-Building Program Titled 'Main Bhi Pakistan
Hoon' at UIT University.

Capacity Building And Training Are The Cornerstones Of Development, Empowering Individuals To Transcend
Perceived Limitations And Achieve Remarkable Feats. This Two-Day Training Program Provided Hands-On
Training To Visually Challenged Students, Covering Multiple Areas, Including Mobility And Orientation, Ges-
tures And Postures, And Table Manners On Day 1, Facilitated By Aazin Hussain (Program Coordinator, BRFP). On
Day 2, It Focused On Leadership And Communication Skills, Personal Grooming, And Assistive Technology, Fa-
cilitated By Mahnoor Irshad (Executive Member, BRFP), Hajra Muhammad Saleem (Joint Secretary, BRFP), And
Erill Hussain (Information Secretary, BRFP), Respectively.
Mr. Shahid Memon (Chairman, PDF) And Dr. Johar Ali (Vice Chancellor, UIT
University) Were The Guests Of Honor During The Opening Ceremony Of The
Program. The Closing Ceremony Was Graced With The Presence Of Mr. Abdul
Razak Bari Director Ummah Welfare Sindh And
Balochistan, Who Distributed Certificates Among
The Participants Of The Training Program, Includ-
ing The Participants From Our Summer Virtual
Fest, The Trainers, And Volunteers. Other Dignitar-
ies Included Ms. Attiya Qayum, Ms. Rubeka (Ida
Rieu School), Mr. Badar Sami (Ubit, Uok), Mr.
Rafih Memon (Vislves), Ms Shakila Yasmeen (Vice

Gsecr) Ms Ratna (Depd), Mr. Saqlain Haider (Ida-Rieu), Mr. Farooq Ahmed (Behria
College). The Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement Was Presented to
Mahnoor Irshad, The IT Expert Award Was Given to Ahmed Raza, And a Braille Arabic Quran Was Also Gifted to
Ahmed Waqas upon Completing Noorani Qaida in Brfp’s Online Quran Class.

 BRFP received a Token Of Appreciation from DEPD for
providing braille books to expand their audio visual library.
 BRFP gifted a complete set of English Braille books to three
schools in Hyderabad and one complete set of Braille Publications
to the Director SPDPA Mr. Diam Baloch, for the Audio Visual Li-
brary of Govt. Special Education and Rehabilitation Centre, Gulistan-e-Johar.
 An awareness stall was set up by BRFP for the faculty and students at PAB National,
Govt Special Education And Rehabilitation Complex, and Noor-ul.Ilm Academy featuring a
captivating collection of Braille books, magazines, and various resources.
