Day 1

Arrival at Srinagar & sightseeing

At 11 am, meet and greet fellow travellers and the trip leader at Srinagar Airport.
At 12 noon, check-in at Zostel Srinagar, located only a 5-minute walk from the Dal Lake.
In the evening, take a soothing walk and Shikara Ride at Dal Lake. It is one of the most
relaxing and rewarding activities in this itinerary.
Later, explore Srinagar's local markets and cafes, and head back to the hostel.
End your night with a filling dinner, lots of conversations, and fun with your newfound
friends.

Srinagar at a glance:
Encircled by an arc of green and white mountains, Srinagar is Kashmir’s greatest drawcard.
The mesmerising Dal Lake, on which stationary houseboats and shikaras add a riot of colours
and a unique offering of romantic chillouts. Apart from the lake, the city boasts charming
Mughal Gardens, central-Asian-styled bazaars, soulful Sufi shrines, and many fascinating
fortresses.

Day 2
Srinagar to Gurez Valley via Razdan Pass

Have a hearty breakfast at the hostel, and leave for the offbeat and truly mesmerising Gurez
Valley with a short break at Wular Lake. Formed by tectonic activities, this lake is Asia’s
largest freshwater lake.
In the evening, reach Dawar Village, the gateway to Gurez Valley that gives a glimpse into
the life of people residing in remote Kashmiri villages.
Later, visit the Log Hut Cafe, run by the Indian Army. A hot cup of coffee is highly
recommended here.
In the evening, check-in at a partnered hotel, enjoy a wholesome dinner, and gaze at the
star-studded sky.

Gurez Valley at a glance:


“One of the most beautiful scenes in all of Kashmir”, were words said by Sir Walter Lawrence
about Gurez Valley. Standing true to his words, the valley is known for its emerald rivers and
monumental mountains centred around the gurgling Kishanganga River, which is a paradise
that lies very close to the India-Pakistan border.

Day 3
Day trip around Gurez Valley

Start your day with a filling breakfast and leave for a sightseeing tour around the valley.
Visit scenic villages like Badugam and Angaikot and continue towards Tulail Valley, which is
the Himalayan sub-valley of Gurez.
Visit Chakwali Village, the last Indian village on LOC. You can see Pakistan Occupied Kashmir
from this village.
Return to the homestay for a wholesome dinner and a sweet night’s sleep.
Day 4
Gurez Valley to Srinagar Via Razdan Pass

Have a hearty breakfast. Then, get ready for a scenic journey back to Srinagar with breaks for
a hike to Habba Khatoon Spring and the confluence of the Sindh and Jhelum Rivers.
Reach Srinagar by evening and check-in at Zostel Srinagar. The hostel features a refreshing
lawn where you can hang out with your newfound friends over a hot cup of Kahwa.
Indulge in a lively evening over indoor games, conversations, and delicious Kashmiri dinner.

Your first experience of the day is a hike to the Habba Khatoon Spring, a mesmerising lagoon
at the base of a pyramid-shaped mountain. Next, on the way to Srinagar, you will witness the
confluence of the Sindh and Jhelum rivers.

Day 5
Srinagar to Pahalgam

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hostel and get ready for a scenic journey to Pahalgam,
Kashmir’s Shepherd Valley, made lush by the Lidder River.
Once here, check-in at a partnered homestay. Later, visit Chandanwari and the stunning
valleys of Aru and Betaab by the local union taxi.
Here, you can visit Baisaran and Dabyan Valleys by ponies at an additional cost.
By evening, head back to the homestay and have an amazing dinner.

Pahalgam at a glance:
An all-time favourite of travellers, Pahalgam boasts a poetic landscape encompassing
stunning valleys, rewarding treks, and forested mountains. While exploring, you will come
across rolling meadows, clear lakes, trout-filled streams, and mighty glaciers that fill the
rivers below.

Day 6
Pahalgam to Srinagar & local sightseeing

After breakfast, check-out from the homestay and leave for Srinagar with breaks at
Awantipora Ruins and Saffron Fields at Pampore.
Later, visit Shankaracharya Temple, Hazratbal Shrine, and Shalimar Bagh in Srinagar. This tour
will give you a glimpse into the olden sites of Srinagar, laden with rustic wooden buildings
and decades-old merchant shops.
In the evening, check-in at Zostel Srinagar. Enjoy a happening evening with fellow travellers
over games, bonfire, and delicious Kashmiri dinner.

The first spot of the day is Awantipora Ruins, an ancient Hindu temple on the banks of the
Jhelum. Next is Saffron Fields, where you can learn how the most expensive spice is grown.
Sightseeing in Srinagar starts from Shankaracharya Temple, Hazratbal Shrine, and Shalimar
Bagh.
Day 7
Departure from Srinagar

In the morning, relish a final breakfast with fellow travellers and the trip guide.
Check-out from the hostel and bid farewell to everyone with promises of meeting them on
other adventures. The trip ends here with wonderful memories for life.
