This is the largest, and best, open-access festival in the Id. These pages truly contain something for everyone. Why not take the train or bus? ‘ScotRail (scotrail.co.uk) and Scottish Citylink (citylink.co.uk) both have extensive network routes to Edinburgh from all over Scotland and provide a range of travel options and offers across August. Hf you are bringing your own car, please be aware that Edinburgh has limited parking and strict restrictions in place. During August, the quickest way to get between venues can often be on foot. 7 Edinburgh is also a great city for cycling, with numerous shared-use bike paths and on-road routes that will get you close to most venues on the Fringe.
