Base on what I have learned, a computer is a sophisticated device with numerous vital parts that
cooperate to carry out a variety of functions. These parts can be roughly divided into two categories:
hardware and software.

1. Central Processing Unit (CPU)

- The CPU is the brain of the computer.
- It performs calculations, executes instructions, and manages data.
- CPUs can have multiple cores to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

2. Memory (RAM)
- Random Access Memory (RAM) is volatile memory that stores data temporarily.
- It allows the CPU to access data quickly, improving system performance.
- RAM capacity affects a computer's multitasking capabilities.

3. Storage Device
- HDDs store data on spinning disks, while SSDs use flash memory for faster access.
- These devices store the operating system, software, and user data.

4. Motherboard
- The motherboard is the main circuit board that connects all components.
- It contains CPU and RAM slots, connectors for storage devices, and peripheral ports.

5. Power Supply Unit (PSU)

- The PSU converts electrical power from an outlet into the necessary voltages for the computer
components.
- It ensures stable power delivery to the system.

6. Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)

- GPUs are responsible for rendering graphics and accelerating certain computations.
- They are essential for gaming and graphics-intensive tasks.

7. Input Devices
- Keyboards and mice are common input devices.
- Touchscreens, styluses, and voice recognition are also used for input.

8. Output Devices
- Monitors, printers, and speakers are typical output devices.
- They display visual information, produce hard copies, and provide audio output.

In conclusion these components work together to enable a computer to perform a wide range of tasks,
from basic word processing to complex scientific simulations and 3D gaming. The synergy between
hardware and software is critical for the computer's functionality and usability.
