SLOT : PROJECT BASED LEARNING

SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATHEMATICS (STEM)

OBJECTIVE :

Course participants (CPs) will be able to plan teaching and learning of project based
learning ( STEM ) Year 3

SUCCESS CRITERIA :

Course participants (CPs) can


 identify “what pupils should know” and “what pupils should do” based on the
Curriculum and Assessment Standard Document (Science, Mathematics &
English)
 write learning objective and success criteria for each subject
 identify the big idea and essential question
 create classroom assessment
 create learning plan of the project
ACTIVITY 1 : WHAT PUPILS SHOULD KNOW & DO ?

Instructions
1. Based on Curriculum and Assessment Standard Document (Science, Mathematics
& English) provided,
(i) identify what pupils should know for each subject
(ii) identify what pupils should do for each subject
(iii) identify performance standard TP6 for each subject
2. Write your answer in the table given.
3. Write learning objective and success criteria for each subject.

Instructions
1. Determine the big idea of STEM project.
2. Write essential question of STEM project.

ACTIVITY 3 : CLASSROOM ASSESSMENT
Instructions
1. Determine evidences for each subject.
2. Create a task using GRASPS model.
3. Build a rubric for each subject, if necessary.
