Assignment 1

Because of the two long strands that wind around each other in
an arrangement called helix, DNA can be formed. And the one that
hold these two strands is hydrogen bonds, because one of the DNA
strands bases was interacted by this bond with the complementary
base on the other DNA strand. Also, the two bases in double helix are
stacked up with the top of each other. And this is the reason why
London Dispersion can be formed.

It is important to ensure that the double helix structure is far


away from the polar water molecule or what we called “Hydrophobic
Interactions”. Lastly, double helix is favorable structure while the
negatively charge are the non-favorable structure because it can lead
to repulsive forces. The double helix can form intermolecular bonds
because of the temperature and attractive forces.
