Dichotomous Key Identification


On the next page you will see the images of 12 different friendly dragons. You
will be using the dichotomous key below to find the name of each species of
dragon. To find the name you must work through the key and depending on the
answer follow it until you reach the name. Each name can only be used once per
dragon and always start back at Question 1 when you start the next picture.
Dragon Identification Key

If Yes, go to #2. If Yes, its name is Silly dragon.
If No, go to #9 If No, its name is Dashing dragon

If Yes, its name is Tiger dragon. If Yes, its name is Running dragon.
If No, go to #3 If No, its name is Dancing dragon.
3. Does it have spots? 9. Does it have fingers and toes?
If Yes, its name is Spotty dragon. If Yes, its name is Happy dragon.
If No, go to #4. If No, go to #10.
4. Does it have hair? 10. Does it have scales?
If Yes, its name is Hairy dragon. If Yes, its name is Scaly dragon.
If No, go to #5. If No, go to #11.
5. Does it have pointed ears? 11. Does it have 3 eyes?
If Yes, go to #6. If yes, its name is All-seeing dragon.
If No, go to #8. If No, it name is Jumping dragon.
6. Does it have legs with hooves?
If Yes, its name is Looping dragon.
If No, go to #7.
