My Contributions to Society

Summary: Expresses the desire to contribute in a meaningful manner to society. Outlines simple ways
that anyone can volunteer or help improve society.

I have been living in this world for almost fifteen years now, and so far I feel that I have been given a
free ride. I am hoping for this to change in a couple of years. I have a few ides about some contributions,
that might be able to help improve our future society.

I think there are a few contributions that every person should be involved with. The number one
contributions would have to be, being a good citizen. What I mean when I say this is, being a friendly
neighbor, not littering, abiding by the laws, and simple things like this. Another general contribution
would be to be a good role model. Being a role model would include things such as, being responsible,
not being a disturbance to the town I live in, being good mannered, and willingly give a helping hand to
people in...

Community is the face of society, a society which portray the decent living. It showcase the attitude and
behavior of liberty, compassion, tolerance and positivity. The community also represent peace of minds
and hope of aspiration. It is worth mentioning that the dynamic of community is not as simple as it
describe, it is a multifaceted and vary from area to area, ethnicity, social norms and values all are
depends on the external and internal situation. The situation of Government linked with policy and
planning. The relations and response of community based on different perception and hence the bottom
line is the diversity which is exist in each society and community.

How to galvanize a better community needs in depth knowledge experience and exposure. The role of
the Government is very crucial because the Government narrative is very important, the State can
decide how to transform, what to transform and why to transform. Consequently the 3 organs of state
Judiciary, Journalism and parliament play a pivotal role for better community model. If the state
institution is efficient to deliver it will ultimately raise the confidence on the peoples and they response
well. They peoples who follow and abide the rule of laws, the provision of basic amenities like
education, health, clean drinking water, urban planning and zoning, urban and rural infrastructure
development, livelihood, agriculture and local Governance all these are the main and basic necessities
for human beings and if community is satisfied from the action of the Government their response is
positive. In short we can say the Good Governance is the main theme of better community. If the
Governance is weak and is not able to provide the services the confidence of the community is remains
very low and the system of state remains in chaos.
Sometime the Stat is not able to provide full services to the community. In this case the stat must
identify those gray areas which needs more attention. In that scenario the State may deals with policy
think tank or philanthropist/institution/university/academia/non for profit to support those social
services in order to strengthen the system? Last but not least we define the ideal community where the
whole planet want the world our children inherit to be the values of peace, justice, respect, human
rights, tolerance and solidarity. All major religions embrace these principles, and we strive to reflect
them in our daily lives.

I can’t tell if this question is about how you, personally, can improve society, or whether it is about what
it is going to take to improve society. But I’ll take a crack at each.

What an individual can do to improve society

For you, personally, to improve society, basically means you have to be able to organize people together
into an organization that can make improvements for vast numbers of people. Some people do this by
starting businesses that improve the lives of vast numbers of people. The founders of companies like
Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Tesla might be able to make arguments tha … (more)

First of all, let's look at the 'elements' of the society…

What makes up a society?

The obvious answer is, People.

So,

Human beings are the sole rulers of the society. The society can't exist without humans.

So to contribute to the society, you are contributing to mankind, isn't it?

Contributing to society = Contributing to human welfare

Now, what is human welfare?

Welfare is that which results in the prosperity and well being of people. In short, welfare is when ALL are
happy and satisfied.
Now ask your Self, how can people be happy and satisfied when they FEEL demotivated and unfulfilled?
Is happines … (more)

First of all, I'd like to appreciate the person asking the question. Not everyone wants to contribute
towards society, rather they just expect what they want from the society and do nothing about it.

There are many, many, many and yet many ways to contribute towards society. Listing a few points off
the top of my mind -
1. You could contribute to the cleanliness of the city or protection of nature by participating in volunteer
driven programmes (there are a dime-and-dozen of these!)

2. Knowledge is indeed power. You could teach people who cannot afford an education on various
topics. In this pr … (more)

Thanks for the A2A. This is a huge question and could take you in many different directions depending
on how you begin to answer it. So I’ll focus mainly on that beginning. In order to ferret out how you -
with your unique values, resources, perspective and abilities - can best contribute to society, you will
first need to:

Clearly define your personal, interpersonal and social values. I saw that you began to do this in your
response to one of the answers here, but IMO you could really drill down deep to understand and
document what you think is most important in your relationships, your person

Helping people understand that we all have three fundamental needs: control, connection and
consistency (details below). Taking them into account in both others and yourself sets the conditions for
happiness or success or whatever you’re aiming for

Three fundamental needs have been driving human behavior for thousands of years: control,
connection and consistency. Without them, survival and reproduction are impossibleEvolution has
ensured that those of our distant ancestors who answered those needs lived long enough to have and
raise children.
