INTRODUCTION
In recent years, the use of social media has transcended being a mere
pastime; it has become a primary means of communication,
information sharing, and self-expression for adolescents. This
widespread adoption of digital connectivity brings with it a unique set
of challenges and opportunities for high school students, and it is
imperative to comprehend its implications.
This research seeks to delve deep into the multifaceted aspects of this
issue. It aims to examine the ways in which social media usage
influences the academic achievements of senior high school students.
Moreover, it seeks to understand the impact on their mental health, as
social media interactions can both empower and potentially exacerbate
the psychological challenges faced during this crucial phase of
development.
By shedding light on the complex interplay between social media,
academic performance, and mental health, this study aspires to provide
valuable insights for educators, parents, and policymakers. Ultimately,
the goal is to foster a better understanding of the digital landscape and
equip high school students with the knowledge and tools to navigate it
effectively, ensuring their academic success and mental well-being in an

The findings of this study will provide insights into the nature and scope
of the problem of social media among students, and its effects on
academic performance and mental health.
Teachers- This study help the teachers to give their students on how
social media can be use in effective way in school and home.
