Core Work, Learning and Development

Rigor, innovation and exposure are key tenets of an intern project. Interns make a large impact by working with teams on
business-critical projects and collaborating with Googlers across a variety of functions. Depending on the organization
and role, interns may work on one large project, complete a few smaller projects, or do the day-to-day work of a
full-time Googler. Interns strongly contribute to the business, collaborate with other Googlers, and have the opportunity
to add long-lasting value beyond their internship.

We encourage MBA interns to participate in Google’s culture of curiosity and learn new skills through dynamic learning
opportunities and development workshops. Through various mediums of learning and interaction with expert Googlers,
interns are building skills and mindsets that are applicable to their projects and personal interests.

Mentorship
People are at the core of who we are. MBA interns connect with a Google mentor, many of which are MBA graduates,
former interns and/or people managers. Usually untied to your work, this mentor is an unbiased resource who we hope
will aid in your development by expanding your Googler network, providing career advice, sharing project feedback and
kicking-back after a long day to reflect on your experiences.

Exposure
MBA interns are trusted with the same transparency and information as full-time Googlers. They're encouraged to
attend the weekly company-wide meetings (TGIF) hosted by our CEO Sundar Pichai and founders. In addition, our team
will help facilitate candid conversations between MBA interns and leaders at Google through the Leadership Speaker
Series and Brown Bag Sessions, which have included speakers such as Philipp Schindler, SVP & Chief Business Officer at
Google, and Susan Wojcicki, CEO of YouTube.

Community and Diversity

Interns are able to pursue personal interests and participate in our company culture, where everyone is a hands-on
contributor who brings questions, builds answers and pushes the boundaries. MBA Interns represent a diverse set of
backgrounds and an array of unique skills; they’re encouraged to engage with and learn from other interns and Googlers
by participating in Employee Resource Groups, which are Googler-initiated networks for employees with shared values
of supporting diversity and inclusion. Interns will also have the option to attend extracurricular and social events planned
by our team, such as a local sporting event or indoor trampoline park, and have access to fantastic company perks such
as free gym access, peer bonuses, expert tech-support and the occasional nap-pod.
