On Dynamic J-Lay Analyses

Dynamic Pipelay analyses depend on wave load parameters such as Hs,

Tp, and wave direction, as well as the vessel's RAOs. In irregular wave
analyses, wave seed input is required. If a Jonswap Spectrum is utilized,
gamma parameters need to be specified as an input. How do these gamma
and seed inputs affect the results?

Wave Seed is changing the location of the Critical Wave Heading and

The results above show that for the same Seed and different Gamma, the
Location of the Critical Heading and Period are also changing. And there
is no correlation between Max Gamma and Max Worst Dynamic Pipelay
