BAGONG SILANG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The primary goal of this training was to equip participants with vital life-saving
skills and knowledge required to respond effectively in emergency situations. The
training was attended by participants from various sectors, such as teachers, student
leaders, BSP and GSP members, parents and some volunteers of brigada eskwela, all
dedicated to enhancing their ability to provide immediate assistance during critical
incidents.
The training encompassed topics essential for efficient first aid and basic life
support. Some of the key content areas covered were: Understanding the
fundamental principles and significance of first aid in emergency scenarios. Acquiring
a systematic approach to assess the scene, ensure personal safety, and administer
aid accordingly. Practical demonstration of proper cardiopulmonary resuscitation
(CPR) techniques for adults, children, and infants.
The participants' active engagement throughout the training was notable. They
embraced hands-on activities, role-play scenarios, and group discussions with
enthusiasm. The diverse backgrounds and experiences of the attendees enriched
conversations, offering a range of perspectives. Participants were encouraged to ask
questions, leading to in-depth discussions and a vibrant learning atmosphere.
The collaboration between the Bureau of Fire Protection and the First Aid
Training and Basic Life Support program yielded an empowering and enlightening
experience for all participants. Attendees not only acquired life-saving knowledge but
also developed the confidence to respond efficiently during medical emergencies. The
training serves as a significant stride toward establishing a safer community, where
individuals are prepared and capable of extending assistance when needed. The
dedication of both participants and facilitators highlights the importance of
continuous education in the realm of first aid and emergency medical care. Through
initiatives like this, the Bureau of Fire Protection reinforces its commitment to the
welfare and safety of the community.
