DESCRIPTION : District Roll-out on District-Based Presentation of


Project/ School Initiated Intervention/ Action Research
Proposals. With the low performance of learners in the
recently conducted numeracy and literacy pre-tests
visible in the high percentage of non-numerates and
frustrations, all school Math and English coordinators are
entrusted to come up with school-initiated interventions
(SII) to address such.

OBJECTIVES :

The one-day activity has the following specific objectives:

 Give participants opportunity to present their


project / innovation / action research proposals
that aim to address literacy and numeracy
problems;
 Enhance the presented proposals by receiving
technical assistance from experts; and

 Share innovations / projects to others for possible


benchmarking.

HIGHLIGHTS : The District Math Coordinator and Research


Coordinator presented and discussed the template for
School Initiated Innovation in School and School
Reading Intervention Program.

Presentation and Technical Assistance also were


given to the following presenters:

1. Enhancing Numeracy Level Among Learners with


Four Fundamentals Difficulties through Project
SOLBA-Sagbok Elementary School
2. More Arithmetic Time to Heighten the Ability in
Numeracy (Project MATH-AN)-Lungsodaan National
High School
3. Mathematics Assessment Through Technology
Advancement (Project MATA)- Bugho ES
4. Helping Non-Numerate Learners with Difficulty in
the Four Fundamental Operations in Mathematics
(Project HELP)- Hinundayan Central School

RESULTS : Successfully done with our activity
