STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE DURING

STUDENT’S ASSEMBLY SESSION

INTRODUCTION:
Kindergarten is dedicated to giving every student a beneficial education and a peaceful
learning environment. All teachers must ensure all the students are knowledgeable, with a
high noble character and disciplined.

The purpose of student’s assembly session to do is to develop a feeling of unity and positive
school culture among the students and teachers.

IMPLEMENTATION OF DAILY MORNING ASSEMBLY:

The procedure:
1. All teachers and students gather at the assembly hall at 8.30 a.m. and students start to line
up according to their respective classes.
2. The teachers who are in charge during the assembly time must greet the students. For e.g..,
“Good morning, everyone!”
3. Then, all students will reply to the teacher, “Good morning, Teacher …., and all the
teachers.”
4. After that, the teacher says, “How are you today?”, students will reply “I am fine, thank
you!”.
5. Teacher asks, “What day is today?”, the students will reply “Today is ….!”.
6. Then the teacher also must excitedly ask the students to sing a song. For instance, “Can you
sing days of the week for me?”. The students will sing the song together loudly.
7. Followed with sing along the 5 pillars of Islam, 6 pillars of Iman, recite surah al-Fatihah with
the meaning and 3 others hafadzan surahs or at least 1 new surah every month.
8. After reciting all 3 hafadzan surahs, the teacher will ask 3 volunteers from students to
conduct the Anak Soleh, Little Caliphs song, and Khalifah Pledge session.
9. Next, the teacher asks the students, “What is our theme of this month?”. Then, the
students will answer it.
10. Finally, the teachers will play 4 chosen children’s songs randomly based on the theme of the
month, students will sing together and follow the movement as per YouTube video to boost
up students’ mood in the morning.
11. At 9.00 a.m., the assembly will end and disperses.
