Accepted Applicants For Undergraduate 2023 August Intake
The University of Zimbabwe is pleased to announce successful applicants for the 2023
August Intake, following the completion of the first round of the selection process.
Successful applicants should take note of the following:
1. Confirmation of Acceptance
1.1 All successful applicants are required to confirm acceptance of their places as
offered by making a non-refundable fee of USD100.00 or its ZWL equivalent
at the prevailing bank rate by Friday, 30 June 2023. Eligibility of registration
is only after payment of full fees as stated in your offer letters. The University
does not reserve places for First Year Students who are not registered within
the allowable period.
1.2 Applicants are advised to collect their offer letters starting from Wednesday,
7 June 2023 through their Faculties.
1.3 Upon payment of full fees, successful applicants are required to visit their
Faculty offices with their original birth certificates, national identity cards, ‘O’
level certificates, ‘A’ level result slips and offer letters for verification. Applicants
must then visit www.emhare.uz.ac.zw for online registration using their
Registration numbers as username and Surname in capital letters as the
password for the purposes of online registration.
1.4 Applicants should then visit the University’s Reprographic Unit to get their
student identity card. This marks the end of the registration process.

Please note that the University is still considering submitted applications for specific
undergraduate programmes under different faculties and successful applicants
during this second round of the selection process will accordingly continue to be
notified. Please note that the University is no longer accepting any new
applications for this Intake.
The First Semester for the 2023/24 academic year is expected to commence on 21
August 2023, unless otherwise advised.
