ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
BRIGADA ESKWELA 2022

Brigada Eskwela for the school year 2022-2023 was scheduled on August 1-26,2022 in
pursuant to Deped Memorandum No.062,s. 2022, entitled Brigada Eskwela Implementing Guidelines. This
is for the preparation for the opening of in-person classes on August 22.With this year’s theme, “Brigada
Eskwela : Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na Balik- Aral.”

One of the focus of the BE for this year is the Brigada Pagbasa, in response to “ Hamon;
Bawat Bata Bumabasa .” A National reading program to address the reading problems of learners. And
we ,teachers of the Languages Department of Bani National High School focused on this matter. But of
course we also gave some of our time in cleaning and preparing our classrooms.

It’s not yet mandatory for us teaching personnel to report during the BE, but if we do so we are
entitled to earn vacation service credits, for as long as we submit the needed documents.

BE would not be successful without the help and support of our stakeholders. Since one of its
aim is to strengthen partnership engagements with partners and stakeholders.

DAY 1 | 01 AUGUST 2022 ( 8:00 – 3:30 )

Day 1 of the Brigada Eskwela was the kick-off ceremony which we attended. Convocation
followed right after the ceremony. Teachers’ planned on how to raise funds for the community pantry on the
opening of in-person classes.
The remaining time were used in cleaning our faculty room.

DAY 2 | 02 AUGUST 2022 ( 8:35 – 2:00)

On the day 2 of Brigada Eskwela, we grade 10 teachers and advisers worked in our assigned
area in gulayan. With us on this day were 4Ps recipient of Barangay Tugui Grande and San Jose. Many of
them came that day.
Advisers were very thankful because after that day their area was already clean.

DAY 3 | 04 AUGUST 2022 ( 9:00 – 3:00 )

In the morning I attended a convocation called by the school head for some important matters.
Dr. Jeannette C.Liwaliw presented her plans for the Brigada Eskwela. And in the afternoon, Dr. Franklin V.
Fernandez called for a department meeting we discussed the conduct of Brigada Pagbasa.
Dr. Fernandez also discussed the year round activity of the department.

DAY 04 | 08 AUGUST 2022 ( 8:00 – 2:30 )

On this day Punong Barangay Francisco came to school to talk about the conduct of
Brigada Pagbasa in Barangay Luac. We asked the support of the barangay council for the success of the
pagbasa.
After that , I prepared things we need for our Home Learning Space in Luac.

DAY 05 | 09 AUGUST 2022 ( 8:15 – 3:00 )

Grade 10 teachers were the in-charge for this day, with us were the
Barangay council of San Jose, BHW and some of the recipient of 4Ps.
I also conducted Brigada Pagbasa in school.

06 | 10 AUGUST 2022 (8:35 – 3:00 )

We spent our day at barangay Luac. We organized and settled our Home Learning Space.
We were lucky enough because the barangay captain allowed us to use a space in their Day Care Center.
In the afternoon we sorted modules and cleaned our classroom.
Same day also, we conducted the day 1 of reading brigade.

DAY 07 | 11 AUGUST 2022 (8:30 – 3:30 )

Continuation of the reading brigade. It was raining during this day, still our readers managed
to attend the reading sessions. We had a lot of readers for this day. And since some of the kids are good
readers already we applied pair tutoring.

DAY 08 | 15 AUGUST 2022 (8:00 – 3:00 )

Continuation of the reading brigade in barangay Luac. There were 15 readers on this
session. The Day Care Worker and some of the BHWs were with us during this day. Pair tutoring and
group story telling were applied on this session.

DAY 09 | 16 AUGUST 2022 ( 8:15 – 3:30 )

The grade 10 advisers scheduled this day for cleaning their classrooms. Some of their
learners came to help in cleaning and preparing the classrooms. Books also were sorted and ready for
distribution. Modules for the first quarter were also arranged and sorted.
5 learners enrolled in 10 Pythagoras came to help.

DAY 10 | 17 AUGUST 2022 ( 8:00 – 3:00 )

This day was scheduled for the orientation of parents. Dr. Franklin V. Fernandez did the
orientation. He discussed about school uniform, school rules and policies, safety health protocols and some
important reminders. Advisers were also introduced during the orientation.
