Dear Honorable Ambassador,

My name is Manickam Thavarajah (Passport Number: N8360961), I am a Sri Lankan Citizen who
lives in Athiyadi, Jaffna City, where I am an ordained Christian Priest. I am writing this letter to
explain the purpose of my German Visa Application.

I am applying for a visit visa for a period of three (03) weeks for Christmas Holidays during the
month of December 2023, to meet my daughter in Munich. I have been invited by my son-in-law
Mr. Balasinham Piratheep who is a Broadcast Engineer working at Sky Deutschland GMBH.

During my time in Germany, I will stay with my son-in-law who will take full responsibility towards
my accommodation. I will also use this time to meet some of my family members in Munich and create
as many new connections and friendships as possible.

I am very excited about this journey and cannot wait to experience Christmas in Germany, which I
know I will find very delightful and remarkable.
