Good afternoon, honorable judges and fellow debaters.

Today, I am here to speak in favor of the motion that AI

can create a better tomorrow for humanity. AI, or
artificial intelligence, is the field of computer science that
deals with creating machines and systems that can
perform tasks that normally require human intelligence,
such as reasoning, learning, decision making, and
creativity. AI has the potential to transform various
aspects of our society, such as education, health care,
agriculture, transportation, and entertainment. AI can
also help us solve some of the most pressing challenges
that we face today, such as climate change, poverty,
disease, and inequality. Let me give you some examples
of how AI can create a better tomorrow for us.

First, AI can improve the quality and accessibility of

education for millions of people around the world. AI can
help teachers personalize learning for each student,
based on their abilities, interests, and goals. AI can also
provide feedback and guidance to students, as well as
adaptive and interactive learning materials. AI can also
enable online and blended learning, which can reach
more students who may not have access to traditional
schools or classrooms. AI can also help educators design
more effective and engaging curricula and assessments,
as well as reduce administrative tasks and workload.

Second, AI can enhance the delivery and innovation of

health care for billions of people around the world. AI
can help doctors diagnose diseases, recommend
treatments, monitor patients' conditions, and prevent
complications. AI can also help researchers discover new
drugs, vaccines, and therapies, as well as analyze large
amounts of data from clinical trials and medical records.
AI can also empower patients to take charge of their own
health and wellness, by providing them with personalized
and preventive care, as well as access to reliable and
relevant information.

Third, AI can optimize the production and consumption

of food for a growing population. AI can help farmers
increase crop yields, reduce water and fertilizer use,
detect pests and diseases, and automate harvesting and
processing. AI can also help consumers make healthier
and more sustainable food choices, by providing them
with personalized nutrition advice, food
recommendations, and recipes. AI can also help reduce
food waste, by predicting demand and supply, optimizing
distribution and storage, and creating new ways of
recycling and repurposing food.

These are just some of the ways that AI can create a

better tomorrow for humanity. Of course, AI is not a
magic bullet that can solve all our problems. AI also
comes with some risks and challenges that we need to be
aware of and address. For example, we need to ensure
that AI is ethical, transparent, accountable, and inclusive.
We need to ensure that AI respects human rights, values,
and dignity. We need to ensure that AI does not harm or
replace human workers or decision makers. We need to
ensure that AI does not exacerbate existing inequalities
or create new ones.
However, I believe that these risks and challenges are not
insurmountable. I believe that we can harness the power
of AI for good if we work together as a global community
to develop common standards, regulations, and best
practices for AI. I believe that we can leverage the
benefits of AI for all if we promote education, awareness,
and participation in AI among all stakeholders. I believe
that we can shape the future of AI for our common good
if we foster collaboration, innovation, and diversity in AI
among all sectors.

Therefore, I urge you to support the motion that AI can

create a better tomorrow for humanity. Thank you for
your attention.
