Al-Kahf (100-110)
ٰ َّ
"ِٮﻢ4ِٮِۡﺴﻢٱﻟِل َّﻪٱﻟۡﺮﺣَﻤَِّﻦٱﻟِﺮﺣ
َ
ََ
And on that Day We shall present Hell to the disbelievers , plain to view —
َّ ََۡ َ ۡ
ُ 8 َ
ٮَﻦ4 ٱِلﺬ 8 ُۡٮ ٮۡﻬ ُﻢ4 ٮﺖ أﻋ ِ ٮﻌوَُن4 ٮَﺴٮِﻄ4 ٮوا ﻻ8 َﻋ ﻄٍﺂء ﻋِﻦذﻛرَيو8ِ ڡى
8 P ِ
(To) those whose eyes had been under a covering from My Reminder (this Qur’ān ), and who
could not bear to hear (it).
ََ َ ُ َ َ

َّ ََ ْ
ْ ِ ﻋ"ٮِﺎدَي ُ َّ
ٮَﻦ4 أڡِﺤﺴََﺐ ٱِلﺬ ﺤﺬوِا8\ٮٮ4َّ وا أن8 ﻛُڡٓر ِ8ِ ﻣﻦ دوٮPى ٮَﺂَۚء4 ۡأ ِو ﻟ
ٓ ِ
Do then those who disbelieved think that they can take My slaves [i.e., the angels, Allāh’s Messengers,
‘Īsā (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)] as Auliyā’ (lords, gods , protectors) besides Me? Verily, We have
prepared Hell as an entertainment for the disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allāh
Islāmic Monotheism).

\ َ
Say (O Muḥammad SAW): “Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds?
َّ َ 8 ۡ ُّۡ َُ
ُُٮۡه ﻢ4ﺿّﻞَ ۡﺳ ﻌ
َ ٮﻦ4ٱِل ﺬ ِڡPَٰٮ ِﻮة4ى ٱﻟﺤ َٮ ﺎ4ٮ8ٱﻟﺪ
“Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good
by their deeds.
ٓ
ٰ
ََُ َ َ ََ
َّ ََ ْ ٰ َ 8 ۡ ُٰ 8
ْ َ 8 َ َ\ َ َۡ ُ
ﻢ
ِ ِ ۦ ِ
“They are those who deny the Āyāt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)
of their Lord and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter). So, their works are in vain, and on the Day
of Resurrection, We shall assign no weight for them
ٰ َ
َ
َ
ُُ َّ َ
" "َ ُ
َ 8
ِ
“That shall be their recompense, Hell; because they disbelieved and took My Āyāt (proofs,
evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and My Messengers by way of jest and
mockery.
َّ ُ ْ ُ ْ ٰ ٰ
َّ َ َ ََ َ
ِٮزﻻ8ٮﺖ ٱِﻟۡڡ ﺮۡد ِو س8ٮﺖ ﻟۡﻬ ﻢ ﺣ8 ٮوا وِﻋ ﻤلوا ٱَّﻟِﺼﻠﺤِﺖ8ٮَﻦءاﻣ4 إن ٱِل ﺬ
“Verily, those who believe (in the Oneness of Allāh — Islāmic Monotheism ) and do righteous
deeds, shall have the Gardens of Al-Firdaus (Paradise) for their entertainment.
ٰ
َ
8ٮهَﺎ4
“Wherein they shall dwell forever. No desire will they have for removal therefrom.”
ُ ۡ َ ۡ َ َ َ

َّ َ َ َِّٰ َ
َ ٱ"ٮﻟُۡﺤ َﺮ \
َ ََ َٰ ُ
ڡﻞ ۡل ﻮ َ ن ٱ"ٮﻟُۡﺤ َﺮ ِ "ﻣﺪادٗا لِﻜﻠﻤَِﺖرَِّٮP8ﻟِٮڡﺪ8 ى 8 \ٮٮڡﺪ8ڡ"ۡٮ َﻞ أن
ِ
Say (O Muḥammad SAW to mankind): “If the sea were ink for (writing) the Words of my Lord,
surely, the sea would be exhausted before the Words of my Lord would be finished, even if We
brought (another sea) like it for its aid.”
\ َّ َ َ ُُۡ َّ ٰ ُ ٰ ٰ 8 َ ْ َ 8َ ٰ ۡ َ
ُ َ۠ َ َ َ َ
ََۡٮ ﺮﺣوِاﻟڡَﺂَِّءر"ِٮﻪ4\ُ"ن َۡ ٗ َ ۡ
ٮإﻤَﺂ8 ڡۡﻞ 8ﺸ ﺮﻣِّٞٮأﺎ"ٮŠَٮﻮﺣَُٓﻰ َّإل4ٮلۡﻜﻢPٮأﻤَﺂ8ى إﻟﻬۡﻜُﻢ ۖﺣ ﺪ ڡﻤَﻦٞﻟ َِﻪوٞإ ۡٮ ﻌﻤََۡﻞ4 ڡﻠ ﻋﻤَﻼ ٮُﺸ4 ﺮك"ِٮﻌ"ٮﺎِدَِّةر"ِٮَٓﻪ َِﺻ ٗﻠ ﺤَﺎوﻻ
ِ ِٰ ِ ِ ۦ ِ ِ ۦ
َ ۢ
َ
أﺣﺪَا
Say (O Muḥammad SAW): “I am only a man like you. It has been revealed to me that your Ilāh
(God) is One Ilāh (God — i.e. Allāh). So, whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him
work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord.”
