SCRIPT FOR WORLD TEACHER’S DAY PROGRAM

Introduction:
KATE: The mediocre teacher tells;
EJ: the good teacher explains;
KATE: the superior teacher demonstrates;
EJ: and the great teacher inspires.
ALL: They guide us.
They support us.
They inspire us.
They teach us.
Today is the day to thank them and say,
Happy Teacher’s Day!

KATE: Good morning everyone, to our respected Principal ma’am Elvie M.

Magbujos, our school OIC, Maam Norma S. Torreon, to our SPTA Council
headed by Atty. Veronica V. Lumantas, all the loving teachers, and my dear
schoolmates. Today, we are gathered here to celebrate this amazing day to honor
the noblest profession in the world. Today we are here to celebrate the generous
contribution of teachers to the society and mankind. Today on the auspicious day
of teachers, we will thank all the teachers in this school and the whole world.
EJ; To begin our opening program, may I request everyone to stand for the
singing of the Philippine National Anthem and please remain standing for the
Invocation, through Audio Visual Presentation.
Kate: Thank you. You may now be seated.
The day that everyone desires has finally come.
The day only for our beloved teachers.
KENT; Our teachers are our best friends, mentors, philosopher and guide.
Therefore, we want to say thank you to our teachers who always believed in us
and provide the best knowledge to us. We will always be grateful of our teacher’s
support in every situation and when we need it.

EJ: To Formally welcome us all, may I now call on the Chairperson of the

KATE: Thank you maam. This year’s teachers day celebration and program
will not be possible without the support of our current School Parent-Teacher
Association. They will lead in making sure that every child’s potential became a
reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for
all children in school.
