Good day everyone. Especially to our distinguished guest speaker DR. EDLYN MAE C.

SARMIENTO who is with us today, the teaching force of Great plebian College – elementary
department, guests and visitors, fellow graduates and to our dear parents… Again, a pleasant
day to all of you.

From the start that I went to school, I never dreamed of being the best. I just want to learn
something. I just want to make friends and have fun with my classmates and fellow students. I
remember when I was in Grade 1, hindi ako makaintindi ng tagalog at nakakabasa pa ng
mabuti. Kaya pagdating ng exams, hindi naman ako lowest but definetly not the highest. Kasi
yong iba natatyambahan ko yata hahahaha . So, I always went home crying and sinisisi ko si
Mama kasi hindi ko alam isasagot ko kasi hindi ko maintindihan. Despite of that, I strive hard
para matuto. I never lose hope, rather I was inspired to do better.

I got this feeling of pride and happiness right now while standing in front of you today because I
have proven that I can be the best if I will work hard and have the sense of perseverance and
determination. I am happy because all my efforts were paid off.

Bata pa man ako sa ngayon, but I will say that not the failures nor trials and rason pra hindi tayo
mag aral ng mabuti and not to try something but rather let us make those failures an inspiration
to strengthen our character.

This award I got today are the fruits of my labor. At alam ko na hindi ko ito makukuha kung
hindi dahil sa aking MAMA Tatay and my brother na laging nakasuporta. Tatay and Mama,
Thank you so much. You are the best parents for me. I love you so much. You are my inspiration
sympre dahil mana ako sainyo.

To my teachers for their dedication and patient sa pagtuturo sa min, Mam/Sir, I really learned a
lot of things from you which I will value as I continue chasing my dreams.

To my co graduates, natapos na tayo sa unang level ng ating buhay estudyante and a new one
will begin. Bagong kaibigan , bagong adventure and experiences, new struggles but with the
things we learned from GPC elementary school, I hope everyone of us will step forward pra
mafullfill natin ang ating mga pangarap. Salamat sa mga alaala, sa friendship na nabuo ng bawat
isa, sa kulitan , at sa tawanan nating walang humpay. I will miss you all. And I can say, see you
around. Along the way we will meet trials, but I know for a certain that something or someone
will show us the right path to take.

Fellow graduates, I would like you to please stand as we thank the Lord God for His grace and
guidance, our teachers for their dedication, our parents for their unending support, and to our
friends who are with us, side by side. Because of them we were able to stand here and reach
this milestone. Dahil sa kanila we can truly say “WE MADE IT”
