1 Personal Protective Equipment


a. All Workers shall wear proper PPE at all times such as safety
Helmet, Shoes and Body Hardness and Welding Gloves &
Clothes, etc.
2 Working At Height
a. Access / Egress way shall be installed at working area
b. All openings shall be barricaded / covered properly
c. Safe guard rails (Top, Middle, Toe Boards) must be installed
as per the local regulation
d. Life lines to be secured by full body harness shall be installed
e. Safety nets shall be installed to prevent workers from falling
3 Excavations
a. Warning signage, light and solid barricades shall be installed
around excavation area to prevent unauthorized person entry.
b. Excavated materials and contruction equipment shall be
positioned 1 meter from the edge at least.
c. Access / Egress way shall be installed on excavation area.
4 Mobile Scaffold
a. Mobile Scaffold shall be assembled as per the relevant
instructions : Safe guard rail, working platform, ladder, etc.
b. Moving mobile scaffold with workers shall be prohibited.
5 Ladders
a. Homemade ladders and ladder of missing and defective rungs
shall not be used on site.
b. Ladders to be extended at least 1.0 meter above stepping off
points, angle not less than 75 degree.
c. Top and bottom of ladder shall be tied to prevent unexpected
movement
6 Welding
a. All welding machines shall b
b. Holder must be certified by local autority (Do not use
homemade holder) and cables shall be insulated relevantly
c. Exposed live parts of welding machines shall be covered by
insulated tapes.
d. Fire Extinguishers shall be arranged around welding work
area.
7 Contruction Equipment (Crane, Excavator, Bulldozer etc)
a. Drivers license, insurance record, inspection report by 3 rd party
must be reviewed prior to mobilization.
b. Barricades and warning signage shall be installed around
working radius of equipment.
c. Out-rigger of mobile crane shall be extended fully and
supported on wooden base plate.
d. Pre-inspection shall be conducted with checklist.
(Refer to the contruction equipment checklist.)
e. Lifting gears such as shackle, belt sling, wore rope etc. shall
not be damaged and inspected by regularly.

8 Temporary Electricity
a. Electricity Shall be provided through ELCB (Electrical Leakage
Circuit Breaker) and it must be tested by regularly.
b. No elctrical cable shall be left on ground
c. Electrical cables shall be inspected to check if damaged or not
d. All electrical tools and distribution panel shall be covered
properly to prevent water from getting into the facility.
e. Earthing shall be installed to all electrical machines, tools and
distribution panels.
9 Storage of gas cylinders, Management of Warehouse
a. Gas cylinders and combustible materials shall be stored
separately in designated storage area.
b. Storage area to be locjed at all times. Only authoruzed person
can entry.
c. Empty and Occupied cylinders should be kept separately and
those cylinders shall be secured upright.
d. Warning signs and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) should
be installed at storage area.
e. Smoking is prohibited nearby storage area.
f. Fire Fighting equipment shall be arrenged as per the relevant
regulations.
10 First Aid
a. First aid kitt and medicine shall be arranged and maintained
regularly.
b. First aid room / clinic should be arranged and aprroved nurse
should be deployed.
11 Emergency Responese & Preparedness
a. Assembly point shall be designated on site.
b. Emergency Contact Number should be displayed
12 Emergency Responese & Preparedness
a. Loose materials to be stacked in a tidy manner and cleared
away regular intervals.
b. Debris on working platform and access / egress way shall be
cleared.
c. Toilets onsite should be cleaned.
