I. RATIONALE:

The Boy Scout of the Philippines (BSP) movement is an effective program in developing
leadership and value formation for every child as stated in DO 68, s. 2003 Re: Revitalizing the
Boy/Girl Scouting Movement in School. Its main objective supports the DepEd vision and
mission to support and develop scouts into well-rounded individuals with exemplary character.

BSP is formed to produce well-rounded leaders who are true to the Boy Scout Oath and
Law and Girl Scout Promise and Law. With its impressive track record in youth development. Its
significant role helping the school system mold learners into responsible and responsive citizens
of the country.

Hence, school scouting provides our students an opportunity to try new things, provide
service to others, build self-confidence, and reinforce ethical standards. Surely their worthy
experiences will contribute to developing their lifelong learning
II. OBJECTIVES:

The program aims to:

1. To instill and to live scout ideals among scouts and scouters.
2. To prepare the youth to become agents of change in communities, guided
by the Scout Oath and Law.
3. To expose the scouts to outdoor activities useful for self-reliance.
4. To gain skills for survival and basic rescue.

III. ACTIVITY PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This KAFHS Senior Scout – SKILL O-RAMA is a one-and-a-half-day skill training

designed to prepare scouts to be self-reliant and adhere to the ideals of scouting. This will be
facilitated by senior scouts guided by the scouts’ masters and adult leaders on the field. This
