Japan, Korea, and China are the 2021’s top three countries when it comes to technological
expertise according to U.S. News. Establish proofs why they are hailed as technologically expert
countries. How did they keep abreast in technology and how did it affect their country?
Will there be a possibility for the Philippines to be updated also of the recent technologies
particularly in education? Support your answer.

At the core of innovation, technological expertise is one of the most important attributes
nations can possess, one that incorporates both skill and knowledge. Japan, Korea, and China are
the 2021’s top three countries when it comes to technological expertise. South Korea is home to
companies such as LG, Hyundai, and Samsung. South Korea’s position as one of the world’s
most innovative nations is a remarkable achievement considering that, for the first half of the
twentieth century, it was an agrarian-based Japanese colony, then a battle ground. United States
and Japan should consider the specific risks and opportunities related to competition with China
in high-tech innovation. A so-called fourth industrial revolution is under way, a revolution
characterized by discontinuous technological development in areas like artificial intelligence
(AI), big data, fifth-generation telecommunications networking (5G), nanotechnology and
biotechnology, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and quantum computing. China has
demonstrated it can be a leading innovator both globally and domestically. The country is
making gains in four broad categories of innovation. Philippines on the other hand is far from the
emergence of technologies of these country. It is still below its potential, with the country’s
digital adoption generally trailing behind many regional neighbors. As the need arises especially
in this time of COVID the government has to make an effort for us to be updated. Distance
Learning is the new trend in Education and this includes the utilization of digital material, either
modular, blended or online mode. Mobile phones are a clear example of the deep impact of some
new technologies. New technologies present a very different picture in terms of the ease of
transferring know-how and the skill requirements they imply. In order to adapt in this changes
upgrading of technology is a must.
