MINUTES OF THE MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BARANGAY ANTI-DRUG ABUSE COUNCIL OF ADLAWAN, VALENCIA, BOHOL
ON THE 27th DAY OF MAY 2017 AT ADLAWAN MULTIPURPOSE HALL.

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by the presiding officer Barangay Captain Maxilindo Magan at 7:00 in the evening, followed
by an invocation led by the Barangay Kagawad Renato Maestre.
ROLL CALL AND DECLARATION OF QUORUM:
The Barangay Secretary called the roll and all members were present. The Chair then declared the existence of quorum.
READING OF THE PREVIOUS MINUTES:
There being no corrections, on motion of Kag. Tagas duly seconded by Kag. Japos, the minutes of the previous meeting was
adopted.
PRESIDING OFFICER’S TIME:
 PSUDs were invited for the drug symposium with their respective families. The majority of them together with the
barangay officials and other guests attended the activity. Mr. Joshua Namoc discussed about the different psychological
issues such as drugs, alcohol and smoking can do to any person who gets involved with those vices. He also discussed
spiritual matters. Next speaker were Mr. Mel and Mrs. Nyce who tackled about health matters regarding illegal vices.
They discussed what those substance can do to any person who got involved with it and the different health problems
anyone can face using them.

ADJOURNMENT AND CLOSING PRAYER:

With no other matters to discuss, the meeting and symposium was adjourned at 9:45 in the evening on motion of Kag.
Gallogo duly seconded by Kag. Bugas, with a closing prayer led by Barangay Kagawad Renato Maestre.
