1.

In your observation, what is the common tempo mark found or heard

at the end of a musical piece?

Answer: In my observation, the most common tempo mark

found or heard at the end of a musical piece is the Ritardando
mark since there is a gradual change to a slower tempo. So, it is
a great way to bring closure to the music.

2. Why is tempo important in learning music?

Answer: The tempo is important in learning music because it

has a massive or big impact on the “feel” or “style” of a piece.
For example, in disco music, the tempo is fast and in romantic
ballad music, the tempo is quite slow. So, the choice of the
tempo has a big impact on the “feel” or “style” of a piece.

3. How can your knowledge of tempo help you in singing songs

splendidly?

Answer: The knowledge of tempo helps the singer to sing the

song by singing it slower or faster and blends his/her voice to
his co-singers when singing for example in groups or choirs.

4. How useful are the activities in the lesson in your understanding of

the various tempo in music?

Answer: The activities in the lesson are very useful because by

learning the different tempo marks, I was able to make the music
more expressive and alive. By knowing the different tempos, I
can now apply it to a song that I am singing, example in a ballad,
disco, romantic, pop, jazz and other kinds of music
