Basic sentence
私は おすしを 作っていきます。
I will make sushi and bring it.

私は おすしを 作ってきました。
I brought sushi that I made.

Use
Used when talking about the preperation you will do/have done for a picnic or other event.

Examples
①ピクニックに おにぎりを 持っていきます。
I will bring rice balls to the picnic.

②私は サンドイッチを 作っていきます。

I will make sandwiches and bring them.

③ケーキを 買ってきました。みんなで 食べましょう。

I bought a cake. Let's eat it together.

Commentary
A.② means "I make a sandwich. Then, I will bring the sandwich." ③ means "I bought a cake. Then,
I brought the cake."
