Building on the celebrated success of ASOMACON 2022 with more than 1300 delegates
attending from across the globe, it gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the
7th International Annual Conference of the Asian Society of Mastology –
ASOMACON 2023 which is being organised at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences,
Dehradun.

For the last many years, the Asian Society of Mastology has strived to improve outcomes
for patients with breast disease by fostering practice-focussed education and
multidisciplinary collaboration. The society has successfully brought together breast
specialists from across all disciplines like surgical, medical and radiation oncologists,
gynaecologists as well as pathologists, radiologists, nursing practitioners involved in
breast care, breast nurses, trainees, surgery residents and medical students from across
the globe.
Continuing this mission, ASOMACON 2023 will feature state-of-the-art informative
sessions, prestigious orations and keynotes from the pioneers in the field and world-
class presentations for which the conference is known as the main congress in the field
of breast diseases in the Asia-Pacific region , it is the one that should not be missed!
We anticipate over 1000 delegates from across the world attending this mega-academic
feast. You are all welcome to showcase your work in the form of podium presentations/
videos of surgical techniques/scientific papers/posters . In case you would like to share
your research ,please get back with the theme and abstract as soon as possible since the
slots are very limited.
The scientific program has been meticulously designed to offer a plethora of academic
activities including MDTs, tumor board with eminent faculty, lively debates, and
deliberations on crucial controversies in breast care, clinical case scenarios, scientific
paper & poster sessions, discussion on evolving trend & management strategies and
much more. There will also be a series of workshops preceding and during the meeting
to address the educational needs of the audience. Pre-conference “hands on” cadaveric
workshop where a large number of basic and advanced breast surgeries including
oncoplastic procedures has been specially designed for the trainees and young surgeons
to learn and perform under the supervision of eminent breast surgeons from across the
globe. Would suggest all of you to encourage your fellows and trainees to register as
soon as possible as the number of slots are limited. Like every year the breast imaging
course that is hugely popular amongst all trainees and senior surgeons alike has been
once again included to encourage all dedicated breast specialists to master the tricks
and techniques.
Dehradun, the beautiful city is arguably one of the most sought after tourist destination
in India. We are sure , you are going to not only enjoy the academics and camaraderie
but also the well known hospitality of this grand city. We look forward to welcoming you
all to this most exciting, inspiring and academically engaging ASOMACON 2023 and
