Prob. 1: The table below illustrates the daily usage of power/energy consumed by various loads
in a household application.

Calculate total Power rating, total Watt Hr., peak current rating, total monthly bill if charged
@8/- per unit and fixed charges of Rs. 300/- pm.

Prob. 2: Calculate total Power rating, total Watt Hr., peak current rating, total monthly bill if in
your house, and based on rates specified at your city or state, and sanctioned load.

Prob. 3: Draw the bar chart showing the growth of solar and wind power generation, (i) India,
(ii) Globally, for 2000, 2005, 2015, 2023.

Prob. 4: Write the individual and total installed capacity of power in India as on 30 July 2023.
Also mention the power from renewable energy target of India by 31 Dec. 2022. Looking into
the total potential of each renewable in country, what percentage have been achieved in 2023.

Prob. 5: Write 10 major locations of the country which are leading producer of Solar and Wind
Energy systems. You can write the name of power projects and their locations.
