SUBJECT:Observation of Grade 2 Pupils for one week

Objective:The objective of this observation is to closely observe and documents the behavior,
academic progress, and social interaction of Grade 2 pupils the course of one week.
Duration:One week, Monday to Friday

OBSERVE METHODS:

BEHAVIORAL OBSERVATION:Observe the behavior of the students during classroom activities and
note any instances of active participation, attentiveness, collaboration,
or disruptive behavior.
ACADEMIC PROGRESS OBSERVATION:Observe the student’s academic progress reading, writing.and
math by reviewing and assessing their completed
assignments, classwork,and performance in academic
activities.

SOCIAL INTERACTION OBSERVATION: Observe the students social interaction during break time,
group projects and class discussions

DAILY SCHEDULE OF OBSERVATION:

DAY 1
-Observe students during morning circle time
-Note their behavior during class discussions are participation level.
-Assess their understanding of the lesson through completed assignments.
-Observe their social interactions during break time.

DAY 2
-Observe students during activities.
-Note their reading skills,fluency, and comprehension level.
-Observe their behavior during small group activities.
-Note any social interactions during lunch break.

DAY 3
-Observe students duing math class.
- Note their ability to solve math problems and understand mathematical concepts.
-Observe their behavior during independent work.
-Note their collaboration and teamwork during group activities
