Job description

Currently ABC Industries Ltd. is seeking an ideal candidate to fill the role of Accounts Receivable
and Accounts Payable specialist reporting to the Company Finance Director. This position is
responsible for Financial / Accounting and Administrative duties in order to ensure effective,
efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. This includes order entry, invoicing,
data entry, month end reporting and support, management of documents and secure filing. All
activities will ensure the company receives payment for goods and services in a timely manner.

Accounts Receivable

· Maintain up-to-date orders from Customers

· Generate and send out invoices

· Follow up on, collect and allocate payments

· Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines

· Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities

· Research and resolve payment discrepancies

· Review AR aging to ensure follow up with delinquent accounts

· Maintain up to date accounts receivable customer files and records

· Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc.

· Prepare bank deposits and apply cash receipts

· Investigate and resolve customer invoicing queries

· Regular customer follow-up to initiate prompt collections

· Communicate with customers via phone, email or mail regarding orders, invoices and all related
issues

· Assist with month-end closing and other duties


EDUCATION:

· Diploma in Business general (Current student can apply

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

· Knowledge of relevant accounting and clerical procedures, General Ledger, Month end reporting,

· Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

· Ability to exhibit a calm friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor all times

· Skillful in keyboard data entry functions with speed and accuracy

· Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and other fundamental data based
applications

· Excellent time management and prioritization skills with multitasking ability

· Information management and maintaining confidentiality

Flexible Language Requirement:

 French not required
