INTRODUCTION

Ineffectively communicating ideas can result in a

waste of time and effort and significant design
flaws.

Although creating a mood board may require

some initial time investment, it can substantially
enhance alignment within your team regarding
the intricate aspects of your product's design.

MOOD BOARD

MOOD BOARD As per Canva (2020), an online graphic design

platform, a mood board serves as an inspiration board
applicable to various design domains.

It aids in refining and concentrating our initial thoughts and

preliminary designs as we progress toward transforming
them into tangible products and design solutions.

MOOD BOARD

Mood boards can exist in both physical

and digital formats.

One notable trait of mood boards is their

adaptability.

Your mood boards can evolve over time,

contingent on the progression of your
design process.

MOOD BOARD

You have the flexibility to replace stock

images with more relevant ones as
needed.

This practice can enhance your design

clarity, enabling you to pinpoint the
most essential elements required for
your final design solution.

SUMMARY

❖ Ideation is an initial phase that expands the

spectrum of design possibilities, seeking the
most optimal, practical, and innovative
elements.

❖ Evaluating what aligns with the problem

represents a decision-making process that
can be undertaken individually or in
collaboration with groups or partners.

SUMMARY

❖ Precise communication of design

possibilities and direction is crucial,
particularly in the early stages of the design
process, to prevent more significant errors
later on.

❖ One effective method for conveying these

design solutions is through the use of a Mood
Board.
