For the majority of typical students, modular learning—a type of online
learning that makes use of self-learning modules (SLMs)—is quite easy.
If pupils haven't learnt anything adequately in modular, how can they be
prepared if they don't have enough TVL knowledge? Furthermore, it is
frequently constrained by a lack of energy, an internet connection,
equipment or media, learning platforms, or inadequate student
preparation for distant learning.

In accordance with this, Betlen performed a Research at the university of

Rizal System on modular learning among TVL HE students, and this
work intends to evaluate many studies that describe the influence of the
modular learning strategy on student academic progress. Specifically,
the details determined the effect of the modular learning approach based
on articles published between 2016 and 2021. Furthermore, the review
focuses on the findings and conclusions of the articles reviewed as
reveal the result of supporting students using the modular learning
approach has significantly improved increased the level of academic
achievement of the students.

In the Philippines, modular distance learning developed by the
Department of Education resulted in a significant improvement in
students' knowledge of the specific content covered, despite the fact
that both technical and non-technical problems occurred during their
teaching in distance learning. Modular distance learning is defined as
the use of modules created by teachers with various tasks and learning
activities based on the fundamental learning abilities. (Roque 2022)
This study determined the relationship between student modular learning and
academic performance

1. What is the level of student modular learning in terms of:

1.1Academic Learning; and

1.2Academic achievement

2. What is the level of academic performance of the tvl students in terms of;

2.1Activities; and
2.2Performance task

3. Is there a significant relationship between the student's modular learning to the

academic performance of TVL students?
