Market Analysis.

10
We are developing this company as a platform where small and
local manufacturers can sell their products to the vast urban
market.
Consumers now a day focus on quality with some emotional
attachment.

We will devise this platform as a tool where consumers can easily

search for their requirement and find suitable values which they
needed. Though we are seeing now a days that there are several
initiative has been taken to promote local products, my company will
provide a familiar platform to the small local manufacturers and
villagers who are manufacturing their own products and want to cater
the urban vast market but did not get a good concept for promoting
their product and are not getting that much success which they want.

MY company will provide them a platform either through websites or

the employees of the company will directly approach to them and help
them in fulfilling the basic requirements of the brand making.

The employee of the company has assigned a task to search about

these small producers in their territory and with the help of resources
of the company make the product a known one.

We will provide support for packaging, labeling, branding, and even

help them in advertising the product in new markets.

We will also help the small self help groups and communities who
produce these local products and give them a concept of development,
creation and growing.

11
My company will also provide customer base to those small producers
who are willing to sell their own products.

We will help them in getting, keeping, and growing the customers by

providing superior values to customers and vice- versa to these small
manufactures.

If we talk about the core market of NISHCHAY then it will be focused on

unorganized, local, small villagers who are involved in manufacturing
new things but didn’t get opportunity to market their product to the
large market.

We will help them in finding customers for their product and even buy
product from them to sell it on NISHCHAY websites.

12
2. ENTERPRISE DESCRIPTION.

NISHCHAY basically belongs to service industry so the main aim is to provide a

wonderful platform where everyone can start their own venture by analyzing pros
and cons of their business.

13
We will work in a manner that our websites and our executives assigned for
various territories work in synergy to provide a best alternative to various
small, local, unorganized manufacturers.

NISHCHAY not only provide platform to producers but also help customer
to get superior values of their own choice. Producers are helped in a
manner that we can’t only provide a connecting link but also make a brand
of their dream. We will help them in manufacturing, packaging, pricing,
promotion and even if they then we will also help them in brand making an
d product development.

OBJECTIVE:

1. To make a platform where small manufacturers and local villagers

can sell their handmade or local village products to the vast urban
markets.
2. To help them in marketing their product and creating a brand.
3. To assist them in flourishing a new source of income for them.
4. To help them in building their own brand.
5. To develop a concept of “LOCAL FOR VOCAL”.

3. SERVICE PORTFOLIO DESCRIPTION

14
NISHCHAY is beautifully designed as a service which will help the society in
bringing up the new innovative idea which is already in existence but need
a support for their development and transformation.

The company executive and management work together in such a way that
the objective of the company can be achieved. We are working on the
products or services manufactured by the local villagers and which need
recognition in vast urban market. Our aim is to deliver a support system to
them and help them in growing and developing.

We are different from other service provider in a manner that we work for
the betterment of country as a whole. Other companies which are in
existence working on the same idea will work in profit management and
capital growing policy but my company will only focus on delivering a value
based support system to unrecognized and local products for the sake of
INDIA.

Our main aim is to devise a plan and structure it in a manner that all needy
local and small businesses which need a support for their growth and
development can get idea from one single platform and also get their target
customers through the website.
Working on this particular idea my company will generate revenue only at
the minimal percentage of help. We will not work as a high profit earning
organization but will work as a organization which run on numbers of
person get helped.

4. INDUSTRY ANALYSIS:

15
NISHCHAY is basically a service sector industry which will work on Idea
generation and idea screening concept along with that it will also help in
product development, marketing and customer finding.

There are several players in this industry all are doing well but the things
that make this company unique is the way it help the small, local,
unorganized manufacturer in starting their own venture and creating a
brand of their own.

Inspiring from Michael Porter’s Five Forces Framework: This is a method

used to assess the level of competition of an organization within a industry.
a. Industry rivalry
b. Threats of new entrants
c. Threats of substitutes
d. Bargaining power of supplier
e. Bargaining power of buyers

NISHCHAY will focus on these forces from very beginning and create a
platform which overcome the hurdles and provide a better substitute to
its users in terms of production, creation, idea generation and marketing
plan development.

We will focus on high availability of quality information all over the

internet.
High availability of substitutes for example, where they can get same
day delivery service or pickup in store after online reservation.
Low margin of profit with lots of idea and concept build a strong
connection with the customer.

THREATS OF NEW ENTRANTS

16
This is a weak force due to the high cost of brand development for
competitors to grow to a level where they can pose a threat to
NISHCHAY. Second problem is low economies of scale gives leverage
over the competition.

Talking about the competitive rivalry, this is a strong force due to the
high aggressiveness of substitutes in terms of marketing and developing
their ecommerce websites.

BARGAINING POWER OF SUPPLIERS

This is a moderate force because of the small size of suppliers seen with
sellers using the platform competing to keep the price low.
Second is the slow forward integration which limits suppliers’ actual
impact on NISHCHAY.

The authority at NISHCHAY is well structured, with proper job

specialization, a narrow span of control that allows for clear lines of
communication as subordinates know whom to report to, and whom to
get orders from.

5. COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS:

17
There are many of company which is involved in such type of work but the
most important strength of NISHCHAY is that it will work on low margin
with better idea of product development and product marketing. Working
on this idea we have searched a lot for the companies which provide the
same concept but the finding is amazing we could not find even a single
company which alone work on all the idea and fulfill all the objectives that
NISHCHAY can do.

Though we are doing well in our line but it is very challenging to establish
this company as an alternative and to fulfill the mentioned objective it is
very necessary to make hard effort against the giant fish which is already in
the market.
NISHCHAY is beautifully designed to overcome every hindrance and
learning from the existing market we will prepare a plan which is well
suited in every circumstances.

While starting each and every day, we must always keep our finger on the
pulse of our competitor’s business. We need to understand exactly what
our competitors are doing in order to get ahead: how they are pricing their
products, where they are sourcing from, what the quality of their products
is like, hoe they market their products, what’s in their listing content, and
so on.

Competitor analysis is an extremely important piece of the puzzle when you

are selling on NISHCHAY. Without this information, how could you possibly
have a competitive advantage?

Keep on reading to learn more about how to find, define and analyze your
competitors on NISHCHAY.

18
The easiest way to find your competition is to simply search for your ideas
on NISHCHAY. Start with a broad keyword and see what comes up in the
research results. The competition will be high for a wider term but as you
niche down and get more specific, the number of your competitors will
shrink – and the remaining competitors are the ones you should focus on.

Once you know who are the main competitors then identify their strength
and weaknesses and make a plan to beat their strength and to convert your
weaknesses in your strengths.
a. Identify the keywords your competitors rank for
b. Audit your competitors’ listings: title
 Images
 Description
 Reviews

c. Monitor competitor pricing

d. Track competitors monthly sales
e. Explore market

19
5. SWOT ANALYSIS:

Avoid relying on your own, partial understanding of your organization every

time we have to identify our strength, weakness, opportunity or threat.

STRENGTHS:

Strengths are things that my company does particularly well, or in a way

that distinguishes you from your competitors. Think about the advantages
your organization has over other organizations. These might be access to
certain material, motivation level of staff, or a strong set of manufacturing
processes.
Strengths are an integral part of your organization;
Well motivated staff
Well designed website
Trained executives
Dedication for work

WEAKNESSES:

Weaknesses like strengths are inherent features of your organization so

focus on your people, resources, system and procedure think about what
you could improve, and the sorts of practices you should avoid.
Some of the weaknesses are,
Less capital
New concept
Lack of executive chain

20
OPPORTUNITIES:

Opportunities are openings or chances for something positive to happen,

but you will need to claim them for yourself!
They usually arise from situations outside your organization and require an
eye to what might happen in future.
Some of the opportunities are:
First mover advantage
New market

THREATS:

NISHCHAY may face many threats as well in its journey. In this we will think
about possible factors which could adversely affect business in future.
Some of the threats are:
New entrants
Political and economic changes
Lower margin by competitors

21
5.MARKETING FEASIBILITY PLAN:

In marketing feasibility plan we will discuss about the concept development

of service that should be offered, the customer that are served, the pricing
or the margin of survival for serving the customer and the place where we
will serve.

THE SERVICES OFFERED.

There are many things that we will offer to our customer including many
benefits. Keeping services mix strategy that involved:

o Product
o Price
o Place
o Promotion
o People
o Process
o Physical evidence

There are seven things to focus on the basis of which we will make a plan to
establish NISHCHAY as a platform.

The services offered were:

a. We will offer a platform to our customers i.e. the small, local,
unorganized villagers to sell their products to the vast urban market.
b. We will provide support to them on deciding, planning and marketing
their product development.
c. We will also help them in brand making and idea generation.

22
PRICE

The price is decided by mutual agreement with the client at lowest possible
margin of serve. We are establishing this business as a platform to serve
people for the sake of INDIA inspiring from the sentence said by our Prime
Minister that is VOCAL FOR LOCAL.
So a well structured pricing policy is formulated keeping in mind the two
layered pricing structure
Penetration pricing
Skimming pricing

In penetration pricing we will focus on the deep root of economy, the poor
section of the society whereas, in skimming pricing policy we will focus the
creamy layer of the society which include upper middle class as well.

PLACE

NISHCHAY will basically focus in small areas basically the region of Varanasi
in the first instance and then in the regions around Varanasi is focused.

arrangement of the firm which is required for the operation of the
business.

and plan for different platform which are required to fulfill the
objectives of the company for which it is established.

The five executive that were employed in the management team

worked together for the achievement of goal, they were assigned with
different duties and are from different background so that each one
contribute in the planning of operation of the company.
Along with that there were many local people who were also chosen
from the territories in which the work is initiated.
27
These local people were made as the head of that region and are
assigned with the work to find out information about local, unorganized
and small producers who need support in their business and want to
start their own startups but need some technical and legal support.
We will provide support to them and make them able to establish their

31

32
Impact on business

Indian politics involves the administration of both the Central Government and
State Government. Hence the industry is prone to get affected by the legislation
imposed by either way. One of the major impacting elements is changes in
taxation.

Goods and Services Tax (GST)

In Indian history 2017 will always be the year that saw the launch of
independence's greatest and greatest economic reform, the Goods and Services
Tax (GST). Finally, the reform that had taken more than a decade of intense
debate, which subsumed almost all indirect taxes at the central and state level,
was enforced on 1 July 2017. GST, a government-published "one nation, one tax"
aims to create a simpler, single tax structure compatible with a fiscal framework
that applies in a number of major economies around the world. This single tax
has led to streamlining various indirect taxes and improving business
performance. In India, GST law is a comprehensive, multistage, destination levy,
which is imposed on each added value.

Currently the tax rate is 18% on the Standard rate for goods and services.
However, taxes are subject to change. Therefore, the business will be impacted
by the changes in taxation on the food industry or on the total revenue, hence
the prices will change based on the situation.

Another major impact would be the banning food ingredients which are used in
the business. Politics in India usually drag sentiments especially related to food
beliefs. The 1995 state law which protects cows from being bought, sold and
slaughtered was amended to extend the same protection to bulls, bullocks and

33
calves. The amendment was approved by the President on Tuesday. This meant
that beef was banned from menus. This ban affected 20 states among 29 states
in India and had a great impact on restaurants that had a majority of their
cuisines that included meat. Special attention should be paid to such
controversial ingredients.

Economic
The current GDP of India is low due to COVID-19. However, the introduction of
schemes and reduction of taxes has relieved businesses. Food being the essential
item is a sustainable business and is the last one to be affected. In the recent
two decades, India has been experiencing strong economic growth, although this
growth has been coupled with high food price inflation. In the agricultural
sector, this growth was quite slow in all sectors. This rise was very inconsistent.
The rise in per capita income has dramatically increased food demand, but farm
production has failed to stay on track with demand growth. Inflation rates can
affect our business which leads to low-profit margins to no profits at all. The
exchange rate will not affect this startup as it is within India only for the
moment.

As it is a new business concept and the major advertisement would be word of

mouth. Social media can play a vital role in growth. Its responses will influence
consumer behaviors and demand. Hence, to reach residents from the other
complexes in which we haven’t started our services, social media would be a
medium for brand recognition and creating a demand in the market. A daily
feedback system will be implemented to improve the food and services provided
as well as negative feedback will be given special attention as much as possible.
Customer relations would be the key to this factor.

The idea of equality for women also would provide us with an excellent place in
society.

The agricultural sector and the industrial world are still linked to food
technologies. The demand for food manufactured and packaged sustainably is
34
increasing, with new technology being introduced in the field of food. Today,
people just want to know the technology behind a product and don't resist the
application of science in food. Food protection is also an important topic for
modernization and tech developments in the food sector to be tackled. Likewise,
processed food is also a developing industry, so we need to be agile to adopt
technology.

Virtual restaurants can be potential competitors of our business; however, on

the other hand adopting advanced technology can be very helpful in expanding
our business. We would try to keep a track of our customer’s preference and
request. On receiving orders from the previous customer, algorithms will inform
us with previous pin pointers, like this particular customer requests more spicy
than usual, or extra salt or prefers any particular ingredients. This way we can
hold our customer’s taste buds. However, it can’t be denied that on an initial
level it will be challenging to gather precise information on the trend and even
more difficult for the customers with variable preferences.

35
CONCLUSION:

Vocal For Local is not a new concept in India. It was first started
as a revolution during the Gandhian era when British goods
were exploited and thrust was given to indigenous products to
retain India’s economy and ethics.
Now in modern era the situation is different. Foreign goods are
preferred to Indian goods in our country in the name of best
quality in the best prices.
Unfortunately, industries in India have not got the
infrastructure like those of developed nations but with “MAKE
IN INDIA” concept tables are turning for good.

New startups are encouraged and people are being advised to

purchase indigenous products which would ultimately make
India stand on its feet in a better way leading to establish itself
as a developed nation one day.

In order to raise our flag high, it’s necessary for us to raise our
voice for local products. Starting from the basic necessities to
the luxury services, if we promote awareness about the
importance and pros of using products MADE IN INDIA we all
will be contributing our bit individually to make our nation
grow.

Continuing this concept NISHCHAY will establish a platform

which will provide a wider space to Indian local products and
help the small poor producers in producing their products and

36
make it establish in the urban market as a brand which is able
to compete with foreign giant brands and create its own image
in the market.
We will help the small, local products and design all the
marketing efforts in such a way that it make the product
establish as a brand in the vast giant market.

NISHCHAY is totally based on new concept that if we raise the

product which is made in India then it will definitely raise the
flag of Indian in the International market.
Since ancient time people all over the world knows that India’s
quality of product is very high all it need is the concept to
establish it in the market keeping this concept in the mind
NISHCHAY is beautifully designed to achieve the same.

Once this concept came in existence we will definitely raise the

INDIAN FLAG in the International market what is needed is to
guide the local products in the right direction.
