Introduction:

The world we live in today faces a growing problem of plastic waste. We

generate an enormous amount of plastic waste every day, and if we do not act to
address this issue, it will continue to have disastrous consequences for our
environment.Through a survey conducted in Barangay Cuta, We discovered that
improper waste disposal is a significant problem that affects the environment and the
health of the community. The survey revealed that a significant proportion of plastic
waste generated in the community is disposed of improperly, leading to littering,
pollution, and harm to the environment. The survey found that there was a lack of
awareness among individuals about recycling and the impact of plastic waste on the
environment. To address these issues, We developed the Reverse Vending Machine,
which provides a simple and convenient way for individuals to recycle their plastic
waste. The machine not only provides a source of income for individuals but also
contributes to a cleaner and healthier environment.

The Reverse Vending Machine is an innovative invention that offers a solution

to this problem by encouraging individuals to recycle plastic waste and rewarding them
for doing so.The Reverse Vending Machine is a device that accepts plastic waste, such
as bottles or containers, and gives users a cash reward in exchange for their
recyclables. The machine works by scanning and identifying the type of plastic, and
then weighing the amount of plastic waste deposited. The Reverse Vending Machine
has the potential to revolutionize the way we think about waste disposal and promote
sustainable practices in communities. The machine can be easily installed in public
spaces, such as parks, schools, or shopping centers, making it accessible to a wide
range of individuals. The machine can also be integrated with mobile payment systems,
making it even more convenient for individuals to participate in recycling. The Reverse
Vending Machine can also help to reduce the costs of waste disposal. By incentivizing
individuals to recycle, the machine can reduce the amount of plastic waste that ends up
in landfills or the ocean, reducing the costs of waste management for local
governments.
