What are the roles that technology plays in the work of a teacher?
The roles that technology plays in the work of a teacher are classified into
seven as an instrument for teaching. They are to provide essential support to
teachers, modernizes the teaching-learning environment, enhances teaching-
learning methods and strategies in teaching, opens opportunities for educational
research, improves the capability of teachers and inculcates scientific attitude,
serves as an avenue for teacher professional development and encourages scientific
attitude. It enhances teacher-student relationship which helps teachers create an
environment where learning is not only the goal but to have a fun and interesting
outcome of the discussion.
What are the roles that technology plays in the learning of students?
The roles that technology plays in the learning of students are classified in
three categories that also makes learning easier and more effective, use these tools
for learning for life. They are to supports learners on learning how to learn on their
own, develops the communication skills of learners through social interactions, and
augments learners higher-order- thinking skills: critical thinking, problem solving and
creativity. This means that it provides students with deeper knowledge, easy access
of information and communication skills which may build into strong connections and
relationship with individuals. It enables students to achieve self-understanding,
improving skills, specifically in mathematical skills that may help a lot in the learning
of us, students and as math majors.
